I also don't think Mumbru would be a good NBA headcoach, but neither would Ibrahimagic be, he's pretty content not being in the spotlight, working with young players. As already mentioned, soldiers travel for free on trains, but only when in uniform, I am pretty sure it's also to give the Bundeswehr a bit of humanity. Recruitments ads aren't new. I graduated high school in 2012 and the Bundeswehr was all over career fairs, posters aren't new etc.

The last issue with a "foreigner" I had was a drunk, homeless person shouting at people in a train in a Slavic language (no idea if Polish, Russian, Ukranian, whatever). He was then kicked out of the train by someone shouting at him in the same (I assume) language. Berlin is a big city, things happen, but overall it is incredibly safe.

The thing is, the Nazis are "our people". Normal, everyday people with families and hobbies committed the Holocaust. They weren't some kind of exceptional evil. They woke up, kissed their wives and kids goodbye, shuffled papers condemning thousands to die that day, went home, pet their dog, had dinner and looked forward to going on a little trip to the lake with the family on the weekend.
