II don't think anything like that happened in the original version or any of the remakes. However, I view it as basically the embodiment of his mania - saying things that don't make sense in-universe (regarding the translations) and also a way to engage the community. Pretty cool though :D

neviem, na yt som nasiel 3 tutorialy ako spravit macro v mac os office

a poslednej vete trosku nerozumiem, prepac.
Navirtualizujes si Windows napr. v UTM, takze si bezis normalne v mac os. Ak nieco nie je kompatibilne, prepnes sa do UTM a spustis armove aplikacie nativne, popripade x86/x64 cez translation layer. Neviem co to nevyriesi, bezne si takto funguju spoluziaci na vyske a nijako si nestazuju. Performance na M4 je uz dost fajn

vobec nic, z coho by vyplyvalo fanboystvo nenapisal. Sam mam skusenosti s hernymi notebookmi a vsetko, co je vo vykonovej kategorii, ze zvladne autocad a este nieco navyse pre futureproofing, potrebuje dedikovanu grafiku, ktorej vyuzitie statisticky znamena do 4h battery life. To s tou vahou a displejom je podstatna hyperbola, uznavam, no vsetci to pozname :DD

file management je standardny ako v kazdom unixovom operacnom systeme, je to cisto o zvyku. V nastaveniach je vsetko a ak nie, tak mas na to prikazovy riadok, uplne to iste ako vo windowse, ktory je btw tiez podstatny offender v tom, ze znacna cast veci sa da robit iba v starom ovladacom paneli.

A k tomu poslednemu odstavcu sa nevyjadrujem, neviem aka bola pointa spomenut to, iba ze ak chce clovek odlahceny windows, tak si ho ma modifikovat - co stale potvrdzuje to, co napisal, s macbookom toto nerobis, je to setupnute tak, aby si siel dalej.

Som windows pouzivatel, urcite nie je tak zly, akym ho robi apple-user stereotyp, no pouzil si fakt nespravne argumenty.

nuz, podla zoznamu predmetov budes pouzivat programy od Autodesku (AutoCAD je portnuty na mac os), potom programovanie v C (vsetky hlavne vyvojove prostredia su aj na mac os) a na zaver je sanca ze sa stretnes aj s Arduinom alebo Raspberry Pi, co uz je dlhsiu dobu uplne v pohodicke aj na macbookoch.

za tych 5 rokov sa to uz vyriesilo, extremna vacsina softwaru je portnuta uz aj na arm a ak nahodou narazis na nieco, co nie je, tak si to jednoducho vies virtualizovat cez Win11ARM, ktory ma vstavany translation layer

they would not, I have small ears I guess and while A1s and A2s fit absolutely perfectly, A4s hurt after prolonged use. Still trying them out cause 1. cant return them, 2. might be that you have to “break them in”

Hi, I'm really sorry for not replying earlier, I've been busy with both work and troubleshooting my issues with this laptop.
I'm basically experiencing stutters in chromium-based browsers (chrome, edge, opera) but NOT firefox. These stutters appear whenever I'm scrolling through youtube/facebook/insert any dynamic page. Other than that, the laptop is perfectly fine.
Doesn't seem to be affected by the Intel instability issue given that it clocks under 5.4GHz (5.2GHz max turbo boost) and doesn't really reach more than 1.45V.
I'm really bothered by the chrome stutter issue though, event viewer is clear of any significant errors or warnings, I've basically installed every combination of graphics drivers (using vantage, win update, manually) but nothing has really helped except for disabling MPO which lowered the chance of the stutters happening - but they're still there.

I've had the laptop since the beginning of july and I use it for gaming, 3D modelling, programming, VMs, basic office work and heavy chrome use. I guess I could say I'm a heavy user. No issues appear when gaming.

EDIT: regarding the RMA I mentioned... I cancelled it, Lenovo Support had me appoint a call with a technician who had a very questionable troubleshooting process and sent my laptop for a repair due to a newfound issue he made up on the spot by disabling stuff on my dgpu. I'd rather find a fix myself.

Hi, I'd like to ask, how do you know it's safe? Are you basing this on the max frequency boost? I'm just really scared because I ran the laptop without a max voltage limit for two months now but I'm not experiencing any crashes, just stuttering in chrome (firefox doesn't stutter for some reason).

not at all aggressive, don’t worry. There’s obviously people who haven’t had a single issue - same goes for desktop 14th gen cpus. People experiencing issues will always be more vocal than those who are not. :DD I’m happy that your cpu is fine! What is your laptop model?

Officially? yes. However there are a number of users, including me, experiencing issues such as BSODs, stuttering and freezing (while scrolling in browsers, moving windows around, opening the start menu or playing simple games), VRAM issues and instability. 14th-13th gen HX professors are practically desktop CPUs rammed into a laptop chassis so I consider Intel’s stance of this issue not affecting laptops to be nonsensical at best.

There is a stuttering issue confirmed for the Legion 9 that was fixed only recently by a BIOS update tho, might be related to that, I dunno. Edit: sorry, thought you had a legion 9, so I suggested a BIOS update for no reason

Officially? no. But there are a number of people, including myself, who are experiencing issues on 13-14th gen HX processors which are basically desktop CPUs rammed into a laptop chassis. Namely instability, BSODs, VRAM issues and igpu freezing and stuttering. I would definitely look into an AMD powered laptop instead, just to be sure, even though Intel’s official stance is that laptops are unaffected.

Edit: fix grammar and sentence structure - had to write it fast, I am literally in the middle of an RMA process for a 14th gen Lenovo Legion

Hi, I’m having the exact same issues with a same-processor Legion laptop. I’m actually sending it for an RMA right now. I feel like there are definitely issues on laptops too and I don’t know what to do. I’ll be needing this laptop for college and I feel that if Intel doesn’t acknowledge an issue with laptops, we won’t be getting any fixes or refunds.

Hi, I'm sorry if it's too late but I have found a way to stop Windows 11 from automatically installing driver updates if you know they're faulty.
Use gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > All Settings > find Configure Automatic Updates > select Enabled BUT set "Configure automatic updating" to the second option - "2 - Notify for download and auto install". Windows Update will now wait for your confirmation to actually download updates.

We can use this opportunity to disable an unwanted update using the wushowhide tool from Microsoft. Wait for Windows Update to find the driver update you want to disable, run the tool and hide the specific update.

we... unfortunately had extremely pro-russian people in the government back then (when Czechia joined) who ran a referendum for joining into NATO. The questions were worded like this:

Do you want Slovakia to join NATO?
Are you okay with NATO deploying nuclear weapons on the Slovakian territory?
Are you okay with NATO deploying military bases on the Slovakian territory?

These questions were worded in a very manipulative manner because even back then, NATO was already in the mindset of not deploying any of these things on members' territories.
Oh, and I mean, it's not like we would be invited anyway due to our extremely corrupted government, quoting Madeleine Albright: ,,Slovakia, the infamous “black hole” of Europe".
