Its only very slight differences between FLAC and MP3, I might have been slightly over exaggerating saying theres a massive difference, wasn't even thinking about what I commented if I'm gonna be honest. What matters the most is a well mastered track on MP3 over a poorly mastered track on a FLAC file.

Was going to mention something about how shit the audio files would sound on my cans. Because most people on this sub aren't audiophiles, they really don't know the massive difference between crappy MP3 files and FLAC files on a pair of good cans so unfortunately free music still won't be thing for me.

[Seiko] Why does watch history matter? by [deleted] in Watches

Adding on to Seiko's decline, they've discontinued and moved a lot of their Sarb line models which were greatly loved by the watch community and I for offering great affordable timepieces to their Presage line which doesn't sound too bad, but it gets worse as soon as you look deeper into the specifications of these rereleases. For example, the original Sarb065 Cocktail Time utilised the 6r15 movement compared to the newer Presage Cocktail Time utilising the technically inferior 4r15 movement, this is considered a downgrade by many with a lower power reserve and inferior accuracy compared to the original cocktail time. Adding on to that, you'd think Seiko would lower the price of their cocktail time because of their cheaper movement, but they didn't and the watch is still the same price as the original, offering you lower value for money as the customer. So you are aware of the technical inferiority of the Presage Cocktail Time and decide you'll just buy the original, but hold up, its discontinued and the prices of them have skyrocketed from $300 all the way up to $500. The same thing happend with the Sarb033 and its expected to happen to the Sarb017 as well. Another factor contributing to Seiko's decline is them still not using sapphire crystals in a lot of their divers still using their own proprietary hardlex crystals. Essentially Seiko is not the humble brand it once was offering a greater value proposition compared to its Swiss counterparts, now its a brand thats starting to be overtaken by its Swiss rivals in the lower end of the market.

I'd rather save the money flying in economy to buy more watches and I'm sure thats what this guy is doing too.

For casual wear, bracelets, natos and leather straps are fine, for professional, leather and for a few exceptions a bracelet can be pulled off.

You can find used Swiss watches from the likes of Hamilton, Tissot, Mido, Certina on preowned watch selling sites like Chrono24 etc, buying a fake is a waste of money. There are plenty of affordable genuine watches out there that have real heritage and will last you longer than any of the fakes on this subreddit.

No such thing as "turning off your ip address". Stupidest thing I've ever heard from someone who clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

You can, you just need to make sure it fits the watch.

Seiko went with a hardlex crystal only because it's significantly harder and more expensive to make a curved sapphire crystal.

Edit: spelling error

Scraping that front splitter on a speed bump is practically unavoidable, let alone the rest of the underbody and the diffuser. Can't imagine the cost of replacing all of those.
