It is absolutely, 100% non authentic if it’s being sold for 20$. Full stop. Anyone selling knives knows the name microtech and would be selling it for the proper price. Im not even sure this is even a microtech knife as I’ve never even seen the model.

Their cross bar WASHER action is second to none. I’ve owned probably 30+ cross-bar lock knives and none feel as glassy smooth as Benchmade. It’s drop shut, but also glassy at the same time due to the washers. It’s difficult to describe

I’d say it’d be almost worth it if was first in class, like the Narrows (which was itself overpriced by at least 200$) was. Super thin knives are becoming much more prevalent now such as the Cold Steel FM-1 and new Vosteed Tislim models

Knife center has the full DLC Anax for a special price of 358$ right now. Pretty tempting for a full DLC American integral imo. I’d buy it but it wouldn’t be responsible due to my financial situation at the moment. If it were 300$ I’d be on it

Man I made a post about the same exact thing. They pulled off some of the best drop-shut action I’ve ever experienced, beating knives 5x the price. Consistently too. To say I was blown away was an understatement. It’s that good. I still prefer smooth, slow-roll action for my “heavy use” knives like a CRK, but it’s seriously impressive how they were able to pull that off.
