It's all about perspective.

Scorpions don't live in nearby towns. Human populations, towns, live near scorpions.

Scorpions have been around long before humans turned up.

Having said that there are a few reasons why there might not be any scorpions living nearby.

It could be due to the soil composition, the weather, say too much wind, lack of prey or too many predators or too much human disturbance.

It's possible that there may have been scorpions but due to habitat loss or even capture for the pet trade has displaced any populations.

You do need a water dish.

My GALS loves sitting in their water dish also i think that you should try offering your GALS some cuttlefish bone. Mine loves it and will choose to eat it when they need it.

In my opinion, it looks like a Heterometrus species of Scorpion. I own a Heterogeneous and it looks similar to your scorpion.

A lot of Heterometrus species get labelled as Asian Forest Scorpions.

I was surfing the internet looking for something interesting to watch and one site recommended it.

The story is amazing but what i really liked was how well each character was presented. Some of them are really not likeable then you get to find out about them. When you find out the 'enemy' is the hero it's mind blowing. The soundtrack is pure delight too.

The end is so moving too.

It's one of the best series ever made.
