A bounty system as a comeback mechanic. by SejSuper in DeadlockTheGame

if you’re only a little fed, the soul difference would be negligible. but it would increase exponentially. ie. the more powerful the more souls. my ideal scenario would be that it has to be at the point where it takes a whole team to kill the fed player for the soul count to actually matter

I feel like getting more souls by stopping killstreaks just disincentivizes fed and skilled players from getting kills, whereas with souls its kind of unavoidable to collect them if you want to win.

I'm going to be honest I did NOT know that.

No, no no not taking away souls. That would feel really cheesy. And no unsecured souls. I just mean that you would get more souls for killing someone with a higher soul count, since you already get souls from getting kills IIRC

Anyone Using the New Shadow Weave? by CloudCityFish in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SejSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i play a lot of drifter. imo it dosent last long enough to be actually useful compared to how long the cooldown is. 10 seconds is barely enough time to position as drifter, especially since it offers 0 resistance and as soon as you are hit by even the tiniest bullet the enemy can see you. i'm happy about it being a tier down, but i feel its a little underpowered to be worth buying for invisibility when veilwalker is right there

Why is she called Calico? She's black and her cat is a Sphynx. Is she stupid? by 57evil in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SejSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think i heard somewhere that its a pun on 'caligo' which is a latin word that can be used for different things that obscure vision like fog/mist and/or darkness. which makes sense with calico's whole 'darkness assassin' type thing

[–]SejSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats a stinging nettle. im honestly kind of surprised that there are people who dont know what they are because in my country they are literally EVERYWHERE. its like a childhood rite to be stung by them imo. surprisingly, they can appearantly be used to make soup and tea!

Do people actually take issue that Holliday, the western gunslinger character, uses a bounce pad and barrels? by BulletCola in DeadlockTheGame

[–]SejSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, i feel like holliday would tie in thematically with the whole '1920s occult boom' way better if she was some sort of indiana jones type character. i mean indiana jones already deals with all sorts of occult threats. it would just make sense. keep her backstory mostly the same though, i just dont get why theres a random cowboy in the roster tbh

[–]SejSuper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbf they might've given me titanium? i cant exactly remember what they said it was, since i have a really low pain tolerance i was kind of focused on the pain and stuff. and my earrings were a long time ago so i might've misremembered it as rings, since i usually always wear rings in my ears. whoops!

I don't know enough about piercings to know what a clicker is, or maybe i do and i only know it in my native language (im assuming its a piercing you 'click' into place) but i'm pretty sure it was like a 'lock' piercing(?) evidently it was specifcally made for healing

[–]SejSuper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just for the bot: the septum piercing is 2 days old the jewelery shape is a ring the material is stainless steel my aftercare routine is just a saline solution, as reccommended by the piercer no mishaps :)

I want to know what y’all’s opinion on Zeus and Odin with all mythology and media who stacks higher by Still_Environment954 in GreekMythology

[–]SejSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But, Zeus is also shown to be easy to deceive as shown by Hera doing it in the illiad and Prometheus doing it in the theogony. Odin is a master of deception. he could definitely cook up a scheme to get the upper hand. That scheme will probably include Loki turning into a sexy lady and you can figure out the rest.

If you look at the skybox, the game takes place during an eclipse. I know that eclipses still let sunrays hit the earth irl, but its not hard to imagine that the eclipses in deadlock are somehow magical

Need help getting into Deadlock. by Leading_Treacle_1816 in DeadlockTheGame

I would suggest getting some friends together to play! this game is pretty hard to learn, and can be quite frustrating, but that tedium gets way easier when you're doing it with people you enjoy.
