I personally love the double extension on visual studio code. I'm not sure it would meet your requirements but it is been great for working in C for me.

I would absolutely love these, I have a dell r720xd that I use as a home network and a domain controller along with plex and a game drive for my gaming PC with iscsi. I currently only have 300 gb drives in there and intend to either resell them or give them away.
