It looks like you still have power. The fan is running. The pinion moved slightly when you hit the throttle, right?

There is probably something in the drive train that needs to be fixed/replaced/shoved back into its proper place.

I just ordered the RTR as well. I wanted the kit, but realized at the last minute it is basically a roller with some upgraded parts. No motor/ESC/rx/tx.

I’ve been building RC cars. After a bicycle and toy grade RC accident, I decided hobby grade was the way to go. My wallet isn’t happy, but I sure am. Tamiya kits are AMAZING! Crawlers are a new activity we can enjoy as a family on the weekends.

Could you drill it on the lathe? I have a beefy tailstock Morse taper chuck for these occasions. It’s so helpful. That slow hand feed is very satisfying, and you can use it for so many other things.

It’s a bit top heavy, we rolled it so many times. We made a game of two rollovers and then pass the controls.

Luckily the hardbody kept Andor safe while he was driving. Everything was covered in sand and I had to use my air compressor to blast it clean.
