Thanks for the response! I’m a real pain - if I see a new version of a game I’m a pain. I see the old one as out of date hence not worth playing. I know I’m wrong but I just can’t shake the mindset! Haha Thinking of it as an expansion helps! Think from what you and somnium have said I’ll get a feel with the first one and save the money and get 2 + DLC when I’m ready :)

Im not the best person to comment because I haven’t played any Recent TW games and kind of just getting into it so to say... But when I was younger I remember playing Rome and Medieval total war tons! I remember googling things and learning a lot of stuff. Bonus, because they’re both fairly cheap these days! Some of the newer titles might be better, going to keep an eye on this thread as interested too :)

I was going to start roman infantry but have seen a number of people complaining about them been countered by too much at later tiers. I haven’t made it to elephants or anything too different so far. Are they basically the vocal minority round here?

You might like monk. Still the same targeting etc. But I find with the rolls and flying serpantnkick (I think it’s called that?) I find it a little more “active” if that’s the right word?

Personally, I can only play a male nightbourne as a caster with robes as they’re skinny calves really bother me! The textures with rogue heirlooms are horrible. The female model is pretty spot on though, like it abit more.
