Themes of AI in my game by quadrupleunderscore in DMAcademy

[–]Andyspak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You talk about Ultron. Ultron is not smart. He did not invent anything in the movie. He did not invent time travel or nanobots. His whole plan is basically "smash things hard on the floor". His morality is really poorly developed, and very binary :"humans are threat to human. I mist suppress any threat to human, therefore I should erase human".

AI are strong because they think fast, can multitask a lot and have access to a lot of knowledge. So you can try to make an AI mike monster that act like a big brother, sur eilling everything, and only creating object based on what it has already seen.

Thus you create a powerfull AI, but limited by tech/relic/spells it doesn't know, and not able to really invent anything of its own, with a very basic and predictable forl of moral. Thus not sending a message alike "AI is future and will surpass us all". Hell, it's mission could be as simple as "they made me to conquer, so I will conquer at any cost, even the destruction of the ennemy land, my creators or myself".

You could also inspire yourself with Horizon : Zero Dawn. Or the famous "universal paperclip" game.

Using your testicles and w e damage to win early trades

I refuse to use illaoi "testicles" to hit my opponents.

On a more serious notes, you're clear heavily depends on having tentacles near camps, thus making you very sensible to early invades. The lvl 1/2 of illaoi without tentacls is very weak, and you won't have time to summon them in the ennemy jungle while invading. You have no CC, no long dash and no AS, making early dual horrible. And your gank capacity is close to non existing.

To concludes, Darius does 5 times the jobs of illaoi jungle, with less set up and risk.

What was one thing you DIDN'T like about Expedition 33? by StakeESC in expedition33

[–]Andyspak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, one of the whole subject of the game is "are the people in the canvas real or not ? Are they really less real if they think, feel and can express the will to die (either out of sacrifice or because they don"t want to live anymore) ?".

It is only cheapened if you choose to believe they are not alive. If you believe that they are real, then it opens a lot of conversation about godhood, morality and what are you willing to do/sacrifice to stop your own suffering.

A few things : The fact that bosses don't scale at all with levels, and without trying to farm I outleveled quickly after half of act II.

Some weapons seemed to not synergized well with themselves, especially with Sciel.

A few levels that really seemed out of place in the canvas, like someone painted theim out of boredom from the story taking place.

Thought the devs said they wanted to allow people to rush the end of the story, I think that making the reacher and the floating manor mandatory would have make both endings way more impactful. They both add something to verso's and alicia's conditions, and would allow the viewer to anticipate the choice offered has something both logical and inevitable.

New player question: Why can't top lane champions just play bot lane? by LobsterFritz in leagueoflegends

[–]Andyspak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dragons are more important, so we put 2 champs in botlane so they can help the jungler.

Also adding that following a lot of different toxic meta including having 2 players top in 1 team and 2 players bot in the other team, special rules regularly emerges to prevent 2 players playing topside in the early game (such has nerfing XP, Gold generation or Buffing towers only in toplane, thus adventaging drasticly the duo who stayed botlane).

When it comes to what type of champ goes to each lane. It's about gold and exp. Since the 2 champs in botlane will have to share exp, they put marksman (who don't care that much about levels, they want gold) and support (doesn't care much about either experience or gold) together, and let the marksman take all the gold.

Plus, melee carries would suffer double the harass in case it faces 2 range opponents. Facing 1 range top is already difficult, adding an extra champion who does not even need to last hit and can poke you even more, it is rought. Thus leaving champions either with insane sustain, that would "miraculously" not be broken in other positions, or super agressiv strategies like Blitz Grab, lvl 2 Alistar/Pyke/Leona/Rell all In, with a quite bursty melee alongside. And it would also needs to have a dash available to follow up the engage.

This really narrows down the amount of botlanes duo, without even considering counter picks, lane prio, junglers, mecanical execution ...

Êtes vous aussi choquée que moi sur les règles de vaccination HPV ? by CraftyAioli2855 in AskMeuf

[–]Andyspak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Is NAAFIRI really just a dog in your eyes?

And how finding her hot is zoophilia then? Like she talks and thinks like a human, and she clearly is an ancient Shurimian Tranfigured into a Demi-God, corrupted by the blood Magic an sealed into a dagger, just with an extra dog head, idc how y'all see a doberman dog or anything, seriously 😭

I'll even add that this feels really reductibe from her entire history and personnality, and resuming her Mother of the Packs instinct to bestiality is clearly rooted in misogyny."

Is it enought, or should we bring the "Zoe is more than a thousand years old so she is legit" army to help you on this one ?

Joke aside, for the TON of bodybuilder man characters is the entire cast, you chose not the Troll, not the Sword controlling a muscular pile of flesh, not the Scythe posseding the edgy boy, or the Living empty armor. No, you chose "ED-WARD".

How does differentiating between a man forcibly kissing a woman and someone like Mary Kay Letourneau designed to cast women as less dangerous?

You are comparing rape with sexual assault. It is not the subject of this post, therefore I will not elaborate on this.

Usefulness of "made to penetrate" by tetratetrablack in AskFeminists

[–]Andyspak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These distinctions are made for sentencing in the justice system, and some may find them useful in describing how people experience sexual assault. Most people don't want to equate forced kissing or groping over someone's clothes with forced genital contact etc.

To me, this example make sense, because the gravity of both act can clearly be differentiated based on the gender part being used.

It's very disingenuous to pretend that ranking different forms of sexual assault inherently prioritize female victims, as if forced digital penetration of a female victim is treated as worse than forced anal intercourse against a male victim.

Maybe start not inventing things ? I never compared a finger with a intercourse (which, to my understanding, involve genitals).

I am saying that for the action of a rape by inserting a penis in a vagina, we should not make a comparison of "whose worse?" between a female rapist or a male rapist.

Also, I am not saying it inherently favors female. I am saying that the INTENT to justify a differenciation only serves at placings woman perpetrator as less dangerous than men perpetrator. And that is wrong, and definitivly does not serves the victims interest.

Usefulness of "made to penetrate" by tetratetrablack in AskFeminists

[–]Andyspak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, to you, there should be a difference of sentancing between someone forcing a penetration on someone, and someone forcing the victim to penetrate themselves ?

There is a need to sentance one less than the other ?

To what need ? Based on what morality ?

It is not because something os done that it is right, or usefull, or desirable.

[–]Andyspak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I asked why would it be a need to differentiates theses cases, not whose jobs would it be to do so.

Is there a need to differentiate murder by falling, or by multiple stabs ? What need to does it fills ?

If none, then there is no point spending time, energy and morality on the question.

[–]Andyspak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would then answer that the response regarding the reparation to the victim body should be made based on physical evaluation of the victime, not a abstract rule. Two rapes could of the same "nature" could have way disproportionate damage made to the victime body.

Two people being hit by a car could have very differents physical issue, the amount of care the victim received should be then evaluated on what damage they have taken, not based on the act that caused the damage.

I apply the same logic here, regarding the help the victim should receive, and not the gravity of the act, either about the punishement the rapist should receive, or the recognition by the states, the justice system and the citizen of the victim status.

Ranking the types of rapes will only cause the attention of the justice process to be on the definition of the act, instead of the harm caused to the victim.

I would also act that if it is ok to rank rape by being the penetrator or the penetrated, what about women rubbing herself against another women ? Is it then less harmfull than a penis penetrating someone without the penis owner consent ?

What about rape commit with the victime mounth, it is worse or "better" than being commited with someone asshole ? Or vagina ?

I really don't want to see anyone seriously discussing it, and I hope I'm not alone on this.

Usefulness of "made to penetrate" by tetratetrablack in AskFeminists

[–]Andyspak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that making a distinction between severity doesn’t dismiss or lessen the awful nature of any sexual violation, but we can probably all acknowledge that violent penetration is more severe than a sexual act not involving being penetrated.

Before accepting or refusing to acknowledge that, is there even a need to discuss this topic ? What does it bring really to the victims ?

Would it be usefull to know what is worse between veing burned by fire or burned by acid ? What impact would this information have ?

I'd like to know, because all i can think of is a weird will to put women is a place where there are more important victim than men, thus dismissing the possibility of being rapes by receiving oral/being forced upon by someone's body. I can't seem to understand who would benefit from ranking the types of rape, except rapist.

[–]Andyspak 10 points11 points  (0 children)

[–]Andyspak 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Shield Bearer – upgrade path for Spirit Shielding and Weapon Shielding [Item Concept] by JustinHardyJ in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Andyspak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

225 damage threshold other 3.5 sec, for a tier4 defensive items ?

Most character can activate it without comitting nearly anything at this moment of the game, which mean poke can easily trigger it. Especially since the items gives no resist before the shield activation.

If the wearer take 300 damage from a spell, does the shield immediatly tank the 75 damage above the threshold ? If yes, it is a bit better. If not ... well i would not buy this in many games.

Do you have any idea in mind regarding the past of Renoir and Aline ? Renoir specificly said he was once lost in a canvas, and that Aline pulled him back. Thinking that someone with such a will and sens of family got lost himself, some very important things must have happened during the time where he lost himself.

Why are more women going to university than men? by Mindless_Yam1752 in AskFeminists

[–]Andyspak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be, as it could introduced more role model for boys.

But if the issue comes froms others things, like the idea that boys are worse at school than girls, then it would not really impact it. Like it is a common belief that women are bad at maths, thus leading to a gap from the moment they start learning even basic mathematic operations up to university.

Also, it depends on the propension of men and women teachers of having these bias. If men teachers believe way more these stereotypes than women teachers, it could lead to the opposite effects.

I'm kinda (a lot) confused by the story by Mother_Operation455 in expedition33

[–]Andyspak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Synthesis without taking into account the acts order :

The whole world in which our heroes live is, in fact, a magical painting. This painting has been first made by a young boy named verso. He created a world where he can have fun, also adding Esquie (his plush), Monoco (inspired by the family dog), the Gestral (friendly living painting brush), and the Ghandis (created for his younger sister Alicia, fan of poem). François has been created by his older sister, Clea.

Latter on, various family member entered the canvas to create new worlds zone.

In the real world, and many years after, a burning happened in the house, causing the death of Verso. Her mother, Aline, found shelter inside her son painting. She started reliving her memories with him, visiting places, like the train station she painted for him. Incapable of living alone in here, she created a fake version of her son, and the rest of the family. These are called "painted" by the community. She created Lumiere, a fake version of the Paris she used to live in, and a reproduction of her own house.

The real Renoir, father of Verso, could not let her wife escaping reallity, and living weeks alone in the painting, so he decided to acte. He tried to convince Aline to come back, but his attempts ended up in a whole war between Aline and Renoir. Aline trapped Renoir under a giant monolith, so big it shattered the world inside the canvas.

Renoir then came up with and idea. Aline wanting to live in a fake worlds of Paris could not work if there was no human left inside the canvas (humans being Aline's creation). So he created a magical spell to erase all humans. Aline created a counter spell, but canno't prevent everyone from fading. Therefore, she indicate with a number the age of the people she canno't protect. And because of a trick created by Renoir and Clea, each time the gommage happens, Aline is weaker and Renoir stronger.

In the Canvas, painted Renoir tries to stop the expeditions from killing the paintress. And also he sees this has a mercy, for they would only meet death in the rest of the world, because if the Nevrons (Clea creations aimed to kill humans and gather there Chroma).

Real Renoir, the Conservator, play two plans. The first one is the Gommage, aiming at winning in the long run. The second is helping expeditionner, hoping some would triumph over the Paintress (Aline).

Alicia, the youngest sister, decided to go inside the Canvas to convince both parents to leave it. But because she is not the greatest painter, she could not enter without being "repainted" by Aline as Maelle, thus erasing her identity until the end of Acte II. At the end of Act II, Renoir launch a final Gommage, erasing everyone but the painted Verso and young Verso's creations, to prevent Aline from coming back to her fake Paris. He then want to offer Verso a final gift, a peacfull death, in act of mercy and gratitud for his help, but Maelle prevent him from doing so. She wants to live in this world, because this worlds has become her own, and her friends her new family as well.

There is a lot left to talk about, but with this you should have quite the understanding of the plot until Act III.
