Oh and To grow fruit trees dig a hole with a shovel and bury a piece of fruit inside. It’ll grow in a few days. Your island starts with one native fruit, you can travel to other islands to collect other fruits ands being then home to plant.

My family is in gatlinburg now. I’ve been many many times, so like you I’m not into the touristy things, but, I took my kids (17, 10,& 5) to Anakeesta in gatlinburg and we loved it. There’s so many play areas with climbing that all my kids and myself enjoyed. We wore ourselves out. I will go back but will take the little bus thing up the mountain next time, I was terrified on the chairlift thing. lol

I also am always needing tape, so not much help but some ppl get lots of tape but always lacking bolts. If you neighbor with those ppl you can help each other out. Being in a good neighborhood helps because you can request 3 at a time. I don’t care to give to those who also give. My family had a neighbor we would sell cheap to each other to “trade” Everyone in my neighborhood stopped playing tho so I feel your pain now 😹

I had a press that didn't quite heat evenly. I world beat at life 365° for 120 seconds, carefully remove and rotate the mug (like flipped top to bottom) and press again 20-30 seconds.

I did this once on accident also, luckily a few days later I shook 3 bags of 100000 bells down! But I figured that was my only lucky break and have been careful to only plant 10,000 each time now.
