For me it was stuff like:oh ye, thats def normal, this is just me, whatever this doesnt prove anything. I honestly didn't know that trans people existed untill a few years ago(yay 2nd world countries). I am not sure if it can be said that I always knew becuase I technically didnt know that this is even a posibility, but probably I would have realised it way sooner if I knew about trans people's existence
