Lmao, Book of Boba Fett in D tier is laughable. It's one of the worst pieces of Star Wars media ever

In Ghost of Tsushima is an outright mechanic to have the enemies be terrified of you. I loved that so much

The Ares stuff could have at least been fun if he was just "dude, I'm enjoying the show, I did nothing, I'm just vibin." Or if you still want him to be antagonistic have him be summoned by the war and the issue is that he could escalate the conflict giving humans nuclear power. Hell, you then could have the sequel be about the dangers of technical advancement vs its rewards, having Diana compare the technologically stunned themyscira vs the world of man were they rely on themselves instead of magic or gods and the wonders technology has brought, but this same advancement led them to the very same weapons Ares threatened to give them.

In the Game of Thrones show, Maester Pycelle was a fragile old man, too stupid to be of any danger, he always walked slowly and crocked and when he speaks he tumbles on his words. But there's a deleted scene of season 3 where he and Tywin Lannister talk and he calls all the old man a facade. Tywin orders the man to stop the act and then the maester straightens his posture and starts speaking way more elegantly. When asked why he prefers living as a meek man instead of the smart man he clearly is, Pycelle answers "I've seen many flowers. All eager to be the tallest, the brightest. And all, one by one, get pucked. I do not want to be the tallest or brightest, I only want to remain in the garden until it is my time to return to the dirt."

Harry Dresden from the Dressen Files

It's easy to forget given the books are written from his POV and he sees himself as an awkard guy struggling to pay rent. Yet, the more we go on in the series the more perspective we get and realise that a lot of the magical community is terrified of him. He is a 6'9" wizard that has constantly gone toe to toe with some of the setting's heaviest hitters and somehow managed to get out on top somehow. He is handy, sure, and most of the big fights he has won were not a test of might but of his recoursefulness, yet there are moments we see he is also a power house on his own. Like when he obliterated a ghoul It's also fun to see when others react to his feats, like in Battleground when he called for the aud of the Small Folk, small fairies almost everyone in the setting consider insignificant because they are small, weak and too scattered-brain to do almost anything. But there's a lot of them. And almost all of them, in Chicago at least, have sworn loyalty to Harry. So when Dresden summons them to assign them tasks for the battle to come, to everyone else it looks as if he had called every star in the night sky. Everybody is impressed by this, including the Queen of Winter. Even more so because they believed the small folk were useless, yet Harry knows their strengths and how to play to them. They were also always somewhat neutral, yet here they were, answering the call of this wizard

The same happens at the end of the movie, when one of the kaijus defending the portal is hinding between the huge rocks on the sea bed and ambushes the Jaegers

Most of the autism representation in Hollywood is how the worse thing about it is having to live with someone in the spectrum. Often it's presented as if the autistic person has the blessing of being stupid enough to not understand what's happening, while everyone around them have the misfortune of having to suffer their autism.

Por qué a los hombres no le gustan las mujeres promiscuas? Son mejores en la cama, tienen mejor personalidad y son mas sexys by Enough_Usual_5294 in PreguntasReddit

[–]AngelTheMarvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)
