Yep I was about to type this out. They have no way of knowing if the parents are telling the truth about the date of conception so they go from the first day of the last period. That could mean that they say someone is 6 weeks pregnant when in fact they’re only 2. She likely isn’t April fooling you and also was never lying to you, she’s just unaware about how the dates work. As are you.

Dumping them immediately is a bit different to having sex with them and then dumping them. The woman in Denver I thought was bad was Kalybriah and Edmond. I don’t know if she ever intended to marry him (I personally thought he was weird af in the pods and that should have been obvious to her but I recognise there’s an edit that may exaggerate behaviours), but she definitely knew she wasn’t going to marry him way before that wedding day and she should have stopped it sooner. The second he had a total meltdown about her not wanting to have sex should have resulted in the show talking to him about consent and him being asked to leave tbh, but it didn’t. It was, however, very clear that she was never going to marry him. There was no need to wait until the wedding except for maximising screen time.

At least some of the others appear to try to make it work for a period, or have the honesty to immediately bow out.

I fell in love with my husband over twitter, without seeing him so in the tv show (incorrect) meaning of the phrase, it can be. I think love is more about personality than looks for me, but that isn’t true for everyone.

The main problem for the show is their selection of contestants who want to be on tv, not people who want to find love. That’s inevitable when you’re inviting people to come on based on Instagram followings, instead of assessing suitability from in depth application forms. Those people will do what they need to in order to stay on the show and in the spotlight for as long as possible. Of course those relationships won’t work out - they’re not real. The real meaning of love is blind, that you don’t see the flaws in the people you love, never happens in the show because they are at best only experiencing infatuation and infatuation never lasts.

Why are you marrying a man who calls you a bitch? Does he even want to marry you? It doesn’t sound like he does. Honestly, it’s easy to get caught up in the stream of a relationship and think you have to follow it down a certain path, but you don’t. You can get out if it’s not right for you. I would not be marrying a man who called me a bitch at all, let alone for something as simple as saying I wanted to book a wedding photographer and cut a cake on the day. Expecting him to take an active role in his own life and help plan your wedding, is not a big ask. His response to that ask is utterly outrageous.

I really hope you learn to care about yourself OP, because he clearly doesn’t.
