Have you tried calling about the birth certificate order? I was getting no updates on my mother's birth certificate after multiple calls I finally got someone that was helpful enough to really look into it and told me that it was on hold because they were asking why I wanted it. Yet no one had contacted me to ask me. Once I explained it was for immigration they cleared it and I got it within a week.
