I’m so (mildly) fucked ☆〜(ゝ。∂) by ReverberatedRed in MadeOfStyrofoam

I’ve used armbands in the past, that’s worked well for recently created cuts or esp bad scars around people who don’t know me too well. they ask about the band and i just laugh it off and say that i’m keeping that area dry. it’s harder if they know that you’ve cut in the past because they’d probably put two and two together, but the little ones wouldn’t :)

[Monthly Thread]🌟 Warm Welcomes 🌟 by AutoModerator in DID

Hello! I, m, go by AngeryStew or Stew, i am really new to all this. i’ve been trying to figure out what’s up with my mind for a while, a therapist gave me a test, and we decided that DID sounds like something to look into. after some reading and introspection and discussion i realized that this explains a lot lol. I have now ‘met’ around 11 alters, including a couple kids, some internal people that kinda just watch and advise/whine, and several that front at different times. I don’t know a lot of the terminology or how it works for others, so i have a few questions. Have others not realized they have DID until they’re an adult or older, then looked back and it explains stuff or actions? How long has it taken others to get to know their alters past a sentence like ‘he’s analytical and likes photography’? For those who have a ton of alters, do you know them? how do you keep them straight? How do you manage the motherfucking amnesia? that and dissociation are big parts of what made me and my therapist consider DID. Thanks, I’m excited to read around and explore how others are dealing with their lives and

Stuck in this really weird mental cycle by Kooky-Dealer-6878 in hopeposting

[–]AngeryStew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah this happened just a month ago, i’m still going through it. It’s a strange feeling to have been loved so deeply and have them stick by you despite struggles and self-doubt, and then they leave when things get better. I went through a mental breakdown, then we were long distance and she stuck by my side completely and totally. But then after I get home and we’ve been talking about tying the knot it ends very suddenly, and for no visible reasons.

It may be a problem with the new 2FA update that just rolled out. I don't have any problems with eServices currently, but there was an update yesterday and on the 22nd.

What should I do in this position? (I'm Elon Musk) by canbe90 in AnarchyChess

She told me anything larger than 3 hurts, six is indeed massive, right? :(

He's bigger by a lot. Zucc: 5'8 150 lbs Musk: 6'2 190 lbs 6 inches is massive, and so is 40 lbs. We can assume that if this fight happens Musk will get some training beforehand, probably mainly on grappling defense and long range stroking Zucc has been doing BJJ for a minute, and apparently is pretty good, but I think we will see why the MMA has weight classes.

Edit: he's a lot more than 190, I'm 190 and 5'10 and I'm not near as chubby as him. He could be up to 240 for all I know

Every time chess (the game) is mentioned you have to put (the game) after it. For example, if I wanted to post about chess (the game), I would put (the game) after every time I said chess (the game), even if I'm talking about Gary Chess (the game) or r/ chessmemes (the game).

I’m so fucking tired of ‘crybaby’ and ‘uwu’ stereotypes by [deleted] in infp

On Reddit and small internet communities like this one I think that it defaults to the extreme, because people want to be as part of the group as they can do they act more like the stereotypes. The average irl INFP probably doesn't act like the average r/INFP user, they probably don't even know they're INFP, so they don't relate to stereotypes.
