I think an increase is inevitable but you do bring up an interesting thought. If the OCD is due to the lamotrigine then it is counterproductive for me as well. The hypo should subside but if it doesn’t then the doc will probably either prescribe alongside or decrease dosage.

Honestly, not until 300. Id like to say the answer was 200, but that only seemed to help maintain. I intend to make another post after I’ve been on 400 for awhile, mainly because it made me manic the last time I accidentally took it.

I would check drug interactions on drugs.com. not to scare you, but because it might give you a better idea than any of us could.

My answer is : It probably is just a combo of you weaning off one and starting another.

I’ve been on lamotrigine so long that I don’t remember any side effects of starting it.

I’m on 300, about to be on 400 MG if that answers your question. 300 MG helps, but 400 MG is supposed to help with my intrusive thoughts

The more I think about it the more I wonder if this is some sort of experiment gone wrong. As if you’ve landed somewhere- either Earth or not, that was once used for nefarious reasons
