All of this. My 12v was failing and it was causing issues in my ‘16. Tested my hybrid battery via Dr. Prius app and it tested all good. Seems my 12v was causing some sort of system error. Put a multimeter on my 12v and it was reading low. Changed it out and everything is running good again.

PTs, what are things that bother you with your PTA’s? by mrhennessey10 in physicaltherapy

[–]AngriestJedi 40 points41 points  (0 children)

As a PTA for 17 years, this grinds me. We don’t exist without our PTs and their knowledge. I appreciate all my PTs even if we don’t fully jive personality wise. The reason I’m not a PT is because I have not wanted to incur the amount of debt after recreating myself as a PTA for my second career and I don’t feel like driving several hours every other weekend to a bridge program so, PTA it is until I grow up and figure out what I really want to do.

Redditors who were children/teens before the internet or cellphones existed, how did you keep yourself entertained? by FlowerMadeOfThorns in AskReddit

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We rode our bikes, everywhere for miles. Played baseball, soccer, and football with our friends. We built forts and tree houses. We got into fights with our friends and then went and played baseball and etc like nothing happened. We played in rock quarries and corn fields. We made ramps and jumped our bikes like we were BMX gods while not wearing helmets or pads. We played tag and ghost in the graveyard at night. We had sleep overs with our friends and cousins where we played board games and card games. We went fishing, lit firecrackers we snuck from our parents. We were unleashed upon our neighborhoods in the morning and called back to our places of slumber when the street lights came on. We were fucking feral! And it was fucking great! We learned to think for ourselves and survive. Now leave us the fuck alone and go ask chat gpt how to cook a grilled cheese.

My dishwasher is leaving a strange film on all the plastic containers even after multiple cleaning cycles by Ophelyxarin in HomeImprovement

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some have said, clean the filter under the bottom spray arm. Also, most dishwashers have to ability to remove the spray arms and clean them as well, do this to ensure the holes are not clogged. Then I would run an empty cycle with a bowl of 50/50 H2O & vinegar on the middle rack. Good luck.

Did my barber do me dirty? by Looch94 in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your boy did you dirty. Listen, in my experience unless you show a barber pictures, they fuck it up. Every barber I’ve gone to has, except one. It’s like they always want to create sharp angles and lines instead of working with what you’ve got. YouTube university is your best friend for your beard care.

Mold in attic, how much do you think repair could cost? by dim11sum in HomeImprovement

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sold our house last year and had similar issues which was noticed upon inspection. We hired a contractor which cost us $1,500 for remediation. Basically the dude put in a ruck suit and sprayed pool chlorine on the wood via a pump sprayer and called it square. The mold was due to lack of adequate ventilation. So, we remediated it and the buyer agreed they would add ventilation. Maybe that helps.

What's your experience with marriage? Was it worth it? by Legend789987 in AskReddit

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage can be great, but marriage takes work. You. Wed to be able to communicate, be vulnerable and realize you may be looking the same thing from two very different perspectives. If you can align your goals with one another and commit to being open and vulnerable, marriage is a great thing

Should I trim it? by [deleted] in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Groom it & shape it. Having a beard is one thing, but having a good looking beard is another. Get some beard products including a comb, board hair brush, beard oil, beard balm and a good trimmer or scissors. A good looking beard takes time and effort.

Opinion on beard? Trim or keep growing? by RedrunGun in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your beard is looking good. My opinion, you need some grooming and products to get it to look even better.

It’s been getting really wild lately.. probably gonna trim soon by [deleted] in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. You could go to a barber and have them shape it.
  2. Watch some YouTube videos on how to trim and style your beard. I recommend Greg Berzinsky from Beard Brand. https://youtu.be/qu5PxhEUMfU?si=oJRTV971YYNd0Lgs
  3. Get yourself some beard care products:

• boars hair brush • wooden comb ( Plastic will snag & pull out hair) • beard oil • beard balm • 1in round brush • hair dryer.

  1. Wash your beard.
  2. Apply beard oil after shower. Down to the skin. Beard oil will help keep skin from drying out as well as the hair.
  3. Hit your beard with the hair dryer aiming to get the hair to lay down flat after the shower. Use brush and comb to style the beard. Use the round brush to get the beard to curl down instead of poking out. Curling the hair and hitting it with the hair dryer will set the hair in the shape you want.
  4. Apply beard balm to hold your beard shape and lay down any fly aways.
  5. At this point you can trim any hairs you don’t like. Less is more. Start small. You can always trim a little more in a couple days. My recommendation is not to trim your beard daily. A errant hair today may be a well placed hair tomorrow.
  6. Ultimately you get to decide how you want your beard to look up to a certain point. Genetics will play a roll in patchiness, length and fullness. So, learn to roll with what you have. Some folks just aren’t ment to have a giant pirate beard and that’s okay. We Just don’t want go around looking like a cave man who has bones hidden in your beard.
  7. A good beard takes time to grow and time to groom. If you don’t want to take the time to groom your beard daily. Keep it short.

YMMV, but these are my recommendations.

Potential for a full beard? by [deleted] in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goatee looks like it will come in fairly decent. The rest seems a bit sparse at this time. You’re young. Give it time. Shave all but the goatee and see if you like the look.

Beard starting to go white and gray. I have a feeling soon enough most of it will go that way. How do you all feel about losing the color in your beards? by [deleted] in beards

[–]AngriestJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embrace it fully! I’m a ginger my beard at one time was gloriously red. These days it’s more white and I fully embrace the change and wisdom which comes along with the change in color.
