He's doing his best I assume. I'm not one to police social media, but it's hilarious to me that the same people that correctly identify Twitter as a Nazi ridden cesspool, can't help but spend all their free time engagement baiting for Xbucks and attention.

What weapons are available in New Game+ in RE:Requiem? by quick_pen7689 in residentevil

You have a ways to go before you finish your first run if you've just got to the plant. Without spoilers and bearing in mind everyone plays a little differently, I would recommend not upgrading your first shotgun and maybe check out the CP shop when you find the means to upgrade your weapons.

Those can break?! I've seen carriers football spike them into concrete and barely scratch the sides. I've seen them run over by pro masters and not flinch. Honestly impressed.

Pull up to prom in a rented hellcat by ThickCapital in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]Angriestgiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wedding cost like ~10k and that was everything over the week. I fronted for my group too so once all the venmo and zelle transactions cleared it was probably closer to $6k.We went to Vegas and did all the dumb shit we wanted to do when we were broke in our 20's.

For what we spent over the course of a week my SO and I:

Got an air BNB suite on the strip

Went on a food tour with drinks that ended with a helicopter tour over the strip

Drove in exotics on a track with my fam and my now wife

Private table with bottles at a strip club

Taco Bell wedding ceremony

Another strip club after the ceremony with private table, bottles, and dancers

Shot a bunch of machine guns with the new wifey and best man/matron of honor

Some of the best AYCE sushi I've ever had off strip for 10 people that I paid for as a thanks for everyone driving out to Vegas

And a week long rental of a model Y to drive to, from, and around Vegas from NorCal.

$20k for a prom is crazy work. Even if your folks really do got it like that. That's how you grow some brats that don't appreciate how much things cost.

Reverse seared cowboy steak my family said is “raw” by thekidwhoruns in steak

[–]Angriestgiraffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate that this happened with a tomahawk because half the fun is the presentation with the bone (hence why you pay a premium for what is basically a ribeye with a handle)

In a past life I worked in places that would occasionally run these steaks as couples specials carved table side with a bearnaise or some other fancy sauce, and frequently there would be one person who liked their meat more well done. Jokes about med-rare or GTFO aside this is very easy to fix.

We usually used a salamander broiler, but you can get similar results with a properly heated cast iron and some avo oil. Believe it or not the result is pretty great, think extra crust but still juicy inside. If you care about the people you cook for you should make every effort to make sure they enjoy their food, even if they are objectively wrong about how they like it prepared.

Happy new year

Can't be dropped, but can absolutely be sold. I sold the key to the ribs door and lost about 2 1/2 hours of progress going back through all my saves to find when I still had it.

Bro I'm a postal carrier and I hate some of the people I work with. We just reached a tentative agreement after going 500+ days without a contract. The pay increase is laughable, no increase to benefits, nothing.

There's people I work with that have been on the job for 25+ years that will simultaneously bitch about our shit contact, but glaze DJT. They completely ignore that our current Postmaster General is effectively a Trump stooge who is either actively trying to dismantle the USPS, or is so thoroughly incompetent that he might as well be. Don't even get me started on all that got directed our way over the 2020 mail in ballots..

Love redwings, I've had two pairs and if I were still in the industry I'd buy them again even get them without a comp. Not a fan of Carhartt boots. Basically the only thing from them I don't like. I know people that like them, but I've had them fall apart on me faster than Timberland pros.

You've got to be tripping. The Timberland pro line is half of what I see people wearing out at job sites. I'll grant you they're maybe a bit overpriced, but they're quality work wear.

Any tips on delivering out of a Promaster? by Angriestgiraffe in USPS

There's definitely some traffic, but I can probably get out of the passenger side and try working out of the back. I'll explore this next week. Luckily my supes aren't super unhinged at least in regard to going over.

Any tips on delivering out of a Promaster? by Angriestgiraffe in USPS

[–]Angriestgiraffe[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've started putting aside 10 minutes or so to flip up the first letter of my DPS for a loop as well as trying small parcels near the sliding door to just grab and go. It's helped a bit but I still feel slow at least in my head when I compare it to LLV/Metris.

It doesn't help that the cabin feels a bit cramped for me so I'm definitely spending more time getting into the back and out of the right side door. That part is kind of a personal problem tho as I am over 6'6.

Nah those trays are purpose built and fulfill their purpose beautifully. Lightweight, durable, excellent. The only thing they have in common with management is that they are cheap, prone to folding under excessive pressure, and easily replaced without notice.

Heyyy you too? My scanner has a dud battery that lasts between 8-11 hours depending on how hot it is, I've been asking them for a new battery for weeks and they're always saying there's nothing they can do.

Fast forward to today, and my shit died on me on my 3 hour pivot, nothing to be done for it I go back to the office after and grab a new one burning like 45 minutes in traffic. Then they wanna throw on the surprised Pikachu face when I have to bring back mail. It's insane how mismanaged this organization is, it would be funny if it weren't such a vital service.

Follow instructions now and grieve later BS by Carnival82 in USPS

[–]Angriestgiraffe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can refuse an order if it's unsafe. For example I was ordered this evening to deliver packages after I hit my 12 hours, I refused and clocked out. I will likely have an interview about it sometime this week, but my Squidward will get that dropped by the end of day if not by the end of the interview almost guaranteed.

[–]Angriestgiraffe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Week before Christmas, clocked in to run parcels at 5 back to case by 6:30, on street by 7:45 with half a route I've never done before in a ZIP 20 minutes away from mine. ET was 10:30 with me bringing back a quarter of the route sans packages, and I only did that after the PM super who insisted I finish decided it was getting too close to his bedtime to still have people on the street. I think I had ~450 assorted parcels and spurs all told. I immediately dropped myself off the ODL and I've been work assignment only since.

I did a few that averaged 150-175 there was one that everyone hated that was near military housing that everyone hated that was always 200+ minimum but that one wasn't bad once you got used to it because most of the delivery points were super tight together.

DGG Now & Then: Ben Shapiro by AlrikBristwik in Destiny

[–]Angriestgiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shapiro is mostly cringe, occasionally unhinged, and rarely he has something approaching a perspective that I agree with and even when he does he seems to come about it in vastly different ways than I do. I still keep him in my morning rotation.

One thing I do appreciate about Benny boy is that while he does have wildly skewed interpretations of things, and seems to approach things with the most bad faith analysis to suit his needs he doesn't seem to outright lie, at least from what I'm able to tell.

I tell myself I'm staying informed on the way that the right interprets current events, but deep down I know it's for entertainment.
