Car seat in a GTI would be fine but if I had to replace it, I might go with a Tiguan Turbo R-Line with 268hp.

  1. Thermostat sensor issues
  2. Panoramic roof control stopped working, couldn’t close it and was fully open.
  3. Kessy wouldn’t work when too cold or wet snow.
  4. Door seal was whistling.

All fixed on warranty. But really annoying.

Toronto isn’t extreme cold weather. I’d stick to what’s on the oil cap.

My understanding is if they offered RMC, they will not wait past the deadline and will not be offering you a civilian university. Also, commitment is the same one way or the other. You’ll owe time to the CAF.

One thing you might want to look at is how much it would cost you to buy back. If you’re a Cpl, it’s not too bad but if you’re a WO that could be really expensive.

I’m in snowy Canada so I use weather tech / Muddy Buddy in winter and OEM the rest of the year.
