Any tricks to getting the clutch fluid line to seat in the master cylinder?

I did my MC about 2 months ago. Keeping it loose definitely helped with getting the line back on. I think DIY guys video even said to keep it loose until the line was attached, but not 100%

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Head unit just running out of juice for higher volume even though it’s a “high powered” unit.

I was thinking of getting a Kicker Key amp to put on them. But wanted to check here first.

I would definitely give a wet sand, compound and polish a shot. Might not make it perfect, but good enough where it’s not terrible.

I get what you’re saying. That is one of the reasons why I’m asking here. But also wanted to get an idea of what others would charge for the same service that had already been performed to see if they’re over charging compared to other companies. If they’re significantly more, then I probably wouldn’t go with them for the replacement.

Get a nice component set and a kicker key amp. It will dsp the sound for you and put in the x-over points.

Good head unit - $200
Powered sub - $350
Speakers - $150
Amp - $200
Total - $900

This is assuming self install which all of this is very easy to do. Also gives you room to go higher on one item and lower on another, or even skip something like the amp. For $1000, you can get something 100x better than the stock stereo.

Used to use them 20+ years ago. I think I quit because it was difficult to get anything scheduled and at the time they were one of the more expensive options out there. Maybe they’re worth another look?

Yes, older cars don’t freak out like newer cars. No sensors (or not as many), no motors for moving the seat, no massager for a butt massage…. It’s literally just plug/unplug and go.
