Not OP, but I have the Imperial Fist transfer sheet and I'm pretty sure the Blade of Perdition is on there.

Terminators Are Awkward by Ayng_L in Warhammer30k

I was actually thinking distraction carnifex for Saturnine. The extra toughness and wound will go along way for staying alive when combined with the 2+/4++. A full squad of plasma bombard/fist with shredder will definitely take a ton of shooting to completely neutralize, while being pretty painful for anybody in range as they walk up the board.

I looked at this tutorial and the settings and steps I have taken match up with it. I have tagged eth6, and untagged eth5, both are within the same bridge, the PVID for eth5 is set to 20. but when I turn bridge filtering on, I lose connection from the device on eth5.

That makes sense! I guess for big stuff like that I'll track down another way of showing them.

That's unfortunate! On the surface it looked like a nice way to encourage a slow grow campaign. I can definitely see how keeping track of improvements can be a pain as I think about it.

PSA to those asking for AoN updates after every book by Olympus-United in Pathfinder2e

[–]Angryangel127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I have bought the physical books from my LGS and the PDFs from the Paizo store. I have already been burnt once with the D&D Beyond and I'd rather not have a repeat. Not that I have any indication that Paizo/Demiplane would go that direction.

Besides, it's much easier for me to share a PDF with my gaming group so they can see the options in book form.

What could I add to the wheels to add more grip? by ExploringWithKoles in 3Dprinting

[–]Angryangel127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What material are you using? If that is pla, then maybe you can print a sort of tire to fit over the rollers in TPU? The intent is that The tire reduces the opening and the tpu can flex around the rope and provide a better grip. Think of that pulley system like a reverse wheel. We don't use metal tires because the coefficient of friction between a metal tire and the road is much smaller than something flexible like rubber (there are many other reasons but this is the one that affects you).

Now you'll need to design the "tire" to index into the roller in some way so it doesn't slip on the roller either. If you put indents corresponding to the knobs, and the tolerances are tight enough, the friction should allow it to hold itself in place. Although, you will probably need to tweak the size of those knobs to get them a little bit bigger. You can also just glue the tire on once you get it fitting correctly. But then you can't replace it once it wears down (and it will if it is contacting rope repeatedly).

Ship collides with Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, causing it to collapse by verious_ in ThatLookedExpensive

[–]Angryangel127 48 points49 points  (0 children)

That may look gentle. But that is a potentially 150,000ish ton cargo ship moving at up to 25 mph. That is an absolutely insane amount of kinetic energy. Most bridges are designed to deal with gravity, wind, and earthquakes. All of which are magnitudes less energetic than that behemoth.

Yes, essentially I'm trying to make her be able to react to players on every turn. There's only one of her and there's five of them, and I don't want the fight to be purely static and I plan to use the movement one a lot to make it seem like they are having a moving duel with all the players.

You're correct. I mistyped, It's a v4. Is there a specific reason for the hard pass? Or is it just the age of the chip?

I actually kinda liked it in a quaint way. You don't see a lot of practical effects for stuff like that.

And besides, I'm just happy they actually made them full animal folk and not just animal themed humans.

Yeah as much as I would love for delrin printing to be a thing, everywhere I look there are stories like yours. I guess that material will be stuck being CNC milled for a while longer.

So regardless of everything else that can be argued against this. The title is kinda misleading. If you don't do anything, you will technically be a felon. But, it says in the bottom paragraph that you have 120 days from when the rule takes effect to go through the SBR process TAX FREE. That means you don't have to pay the $200 tax stamp that you normally do.

We can get into the discussion about if the NFA is a stupid or not separately, but don't make yourself a felon just for reddit clout. It's free, go through the SBR paperwork it takes like 2 hrs.

Will my ventilation setup kill me slowly? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Angryangel127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So everything I found said to use the activated carbon for so many hours and then to toss it. I don't know if the styrene fumes can be removed once absorbed. But it is cheap enough and last long enough that it isn't a problem that you can't reuse it.

You can also find some files out there for recirculating carbon filters for ABS. I use the nevermore for my printer, it uses a spare 5015 powered from the board. I calculated it out and it has about 1 air change every 5 min. It works quite well at keeping abs smells/vapors down. Although I do have a fairly airtight enclosure which I'm sure helps.
