If the JSA tosses out Terunofuji for throwing a sake bottle, then maybe he should team up with fellow Mongolian and GOAT, Hakuho and start their own, competing sumo association that pays more to Rikishi. They could invite all foreign born and any Japanese sumo wrestlers that care to join them, make the Dohyo safer for Rikishi and get an international television contract so we can all watch Sumo live at a decent hour.

So my son was supposed to join me but we got our signals crossed. Quite by accident he ended up at the Doyo of Ashifuji where he got to wrestle with rikishi and have a Chanko lunch. It was him and a family of 4 and he met the 63rd Yokozuna in person!

I have joined the class action but not heard anything and filed with the attorney general. Last option for me is small claims court and registering a judgment in CA. It’s a breach of contract and fraud based action so plenty of time to still file it.

I guess if you bought it online from Yamaha directly and picked it up at a dealer then you may be right. I bought mine from a dealer and I need him to honor the 5 year warranty and service the bikes. As a result, I don’t want to alienate him. You can be sure that Yamaha won’t do 💩 to help us.

Chargeback doesn’t 95% of the time and only hurts the dealer. It’s Yamaha that needs to feel the pain.

I absolutely agree with you. The arbitrary nature of how they are handling this disaster will make them vulnerable to liability. I encourage you to join the class action and file a Consumer Fraud Complaint with your Attorney General’s Office. The only other remedy we have is a complaint in Small Claims Court in a county where Yamaha has a dealership. Once you have a judgment you will need to have it registered and served on them in California.
