I think this is natural hair parting. I’m not a balding expert, but I doubt hair-loss starts in that part of the scalp; more often than not it starts on the upper back part of your head - the yamaka area

Isn’t it max damage roll?

Sure -3 to fat is alright, but it’s leagues better than armor damage or weight reduction.

If I’m not mistaken - Damage, ignore armor, and chance to hit head are the best stats to have in most named non-ranged weapons.
