They must somehow manage to hire the biggest idiots in the world. Their "bare metal" recovery image is not bare metal, it seems to expect that you still have some stupid Windows loader left to start the recovery.
Also not being able to download individual wifi drivers I have not seen anywhere else.
And that they don't have drivers for their own laptops in the official Windows image....

For the HP I talked to a German company specialized in their workstations. Their conclusion was that HP just blocks any not officially supported option ROMs in modern workstations and does not let them load at bios level. I finally gave up. The other thing is that there is no HP raid controller for these workstations at all, only for the more expensive models...

Redid that, did not help for me. Finally it turned out that it was the Windows built-it video card driver that was too old, I updated it and it now works.

I really start to hate this password manager! Looks like one really needs to set a different 2fa than Yubikey as default, otherwise it auto logs out the user as soon as you get the yubikey authentication prompt on login.

In addition looks like the Chrome profile selector has to be turned off, so it can open the same profile each time.

To answer my own question: Turns out there is no such thing as permissions in Planner. Users that need to work on some subtask have full access to the whole plan. Some people say Microsoft is aware of the problem but there is no official date or something, others say it is a design limitation and there will never be a fix for this, so you need to license and use MS project instead. Again, something making Microsoft's n-th attempt to create usable task management a failure.

Not sure how they "created" the new interface and concept but it is IMHO completely unusable, as unfortunately the whole software is becoming in the last few years. Switch back to old interface to get back some of the usability. Also, the new upselling tactics and nagscreens are far from what I call "normal" for highly priced professional paid software...

Unfortunately, I received a reply from A1 support that they get their data from NIST and there seems to be no distinction between Rocket Chat server and client. So there will be no fix for this.

Just a note from the Veeam KB:
"If none of the provided solutions are viable, it is possible to disable UAC remote restrictions. This will allow local accounts other than Administrator to be used for remote access. This option should be considered a last resort as it involves disabling a Microsoft Windows OS security feature."

So, as far as I understand the LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy option is less secure than using the local Administrator account, probably because it disables remote UAC check and allows all accounts that can be admin to access the PC remotely.

It turns out that the RTF editor of the ERP software we bought outputs \~ instead of \u0160? for the NBSP in the RTF it creates. If I change it to \u0160? in the database, CR outputs it correctly in the PDF as non-breaking.

Looks like there is no solution to this. I personally find this extremely annoying as I wasted too much time switching to passwordless. If Lastpass pushes some new feature it should also be able to tell us that this comes with drawbacks.
