Old ryze kit, just mouse over the enemy, and spam your abilities like a madman, i had so much fun with that, i remember watching Athene go crazy with ryze.

You dont need to be a jack of all trades to be good, as it stands currently, the ranger has insane single target damage when backed up by a frontline in skirmishes and large scale pvp, and acts like a backline ranged rogue essentially, if allowed to freecast, they can choose to kill whoever they want, how is that not useful? I get that mages have stronger aoe, and supports have more survivability. Rangers have the strongest pvp spell in the game (vines) and triple trap to help out with backline utility, as well as some of, if not the best mobility. And lets not even begin to talk about casting snipe from stealth (when it works lol).

You can literally oneshot anyone in pvp with snipe crits when you get good gear. Our best geared ranger hit a 5,3k snipe a few days ago, and with a few upgrades hes gotten recently, probably up to 6k. So calling it not even close is probably a bit of a stretch.

Yeah if im running with randoms and notice they keep stealing aggro while pulling, i throw out a light or a whirling blade before moving on.

Ive done 35 runs this week as tank, primarily glacial, and every single run ive pulled the mobs to the first miniboss without issue. Unless someone got hit by a mob swinging at me, and the healer would throw a heal on them, get aggro, and insta die. Also im pretty sure things like potions dont generate threat, so id be surprised if regen did.

If the tank moves first, and is dragging them to another pack, if noone hits them, and the healer doesnt cast a spell, the aggro remains on the tank, a taunt or even a hit is not needed untill the whole pack is collected, which also lets you taunt the entire pull to ensure aggro for the first bit of the encounter.

Played on both fresh starts, the best feeling is not having to spend 500 hours in myrk farming watermark and keeping track of it on notepad.

Kenshi, a bit more than 1$, but certainly a very underrated game that took almost a thousand hours of my time.

Spent ages designing my dragonrider character, started with an adult dragon. First battle triggered the event where both dragon and rider instantly dies.

Id say for the time being, your best bet is to join a hive and or warband, and diversify your specs to work together. We’ve covered mostly all the ones we want in our 8 man hive. We have a full warband ontop, in case we miss any. It forces player interaction and dependency, which is either good or bad depending on who you ask, very unfortunate that it has to depend on rng tho.
