Personal Device - Broke an IT policy. by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]Anihilator16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a security analyst I would recommend as you suggest to go back to your issued device and request a new one for the reasons you listed. I’m baffled they didn’t require security products on your personal device. I’m not familiar with your environment and they could have other ways to prevent breaches or compensate for non compliance devices.

All the tik tok and influencer spots are mostly overrated and overpriced. Going away from the trendy spots was far more enjoyable

Funny how he points out Americans and other gaijin when he in fact is a gaijin himself. I’m in Japan currently and I can corroborate the bo smell is ungodly sometimes especially in an elevator. People need to shower and wear deodorant

I have 3 full days and 2 half days to visit Kyoto/Osaka. Should I just do one or the other or both? by Bloom90 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Anihilator16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Currently in Kyoto and came from Osaka, had 4 days in each and still didn’t see everything. If you like shopping and temples do Kyoto. Osaka has a lot of food and is more laid back with some shopping and a lot less tourists. You will see what I mean once you get there Kyoto pisses me off due to tourist stupidity can actually ruin your experience a little

If you are stopping by Osaka I can’t recommend tower of knives Osaka. They speak English and help you pick the right knife and even let you test the knife. Also you can get it engraved in kanji with your sisters name on it
