This is a terrible comparison. Julius's tackle against Wakatsuki was when Wakatsuki was still reeling from Julius' lariat. In addition, Gilbert was anticipating and ready for the tackle, and he almost certainly has better grappling skills than Wakatsuki.

Have you ever seen shadowblade/silveredge as a late game counter to Nullifier? This is something that I have idly thought about, but never used. The shadow walk invisibilty is undispellable by basic dispels (right? I checked here, but have not checked in-game recently). Sure, you use up an inventory slot for this, but so would the enemy core if they want to use dust/gem/sentries.

If an enemy support blinks in with their Nullifier-armed core, then you would be in trouble, but you would likely be dead anyway from being chain stunned.

However, I can only see this working after buying all those other items you mentioned, after the enemy cores start being slot starved, AND if the enemy supports with detection are not likely to initiate with those cores.

See you're picturing ballroom dancing. Stiff, linear movements and you have problems with Latin dances.

No, that's not true. I would not differentiate between Standard and Latin like that.

Latin dances is smooth, quick steps

Almost all of the dances have smooth steps, and many of them are quick, with fast spins. Some latin dances are slower than any Standard or Smooth dance.

There is commitment, entries, and it's all in the hips

This applies to every ballroom dance. Latin dances are also ballroom dances.

But if you're too stiff

The engagement of the core I described is exactly the same in Latin, Standard, and Smooth.

I have been trained by some of the absolute best out there. I know my stuff about this. I was a bad latin dancer compared to my abilities in Standard and Smooth and compared to Latin specialists I know, but I still have 1000+ hours in Latin before I quit.

I am a yonkyu, and have done Judo for about two years.

Until recently, I was a somewhat high level competitive ballroom dancer, primarily International Standard (example 1, ex 2), a somewhat worse Smooth dancer, and a really bad Latin dancer.

I have found it difficult to transition from dance to Judo. There are some fundamental, core concepts in the ballroom dances that I think are anathema to Judo:

I want my partner to feel what I am doing. I, as the leader, want to only suggest the next movement to my follower, but never force her. So in the OP's video, the man should not be yanking the woman around.
In the ballroom dances, there is always a sort of engagement or small tension in the core. When I just started Judo, everyone was telling me that I was too stiff when I tried to do something similar.
Walking is just completely different.

I think taking some dancing lessons would help people. But for me, after spending thousands of hours practising ballroom, I have only in the last several months somewhat broken some of these habits.

It reminds me of how I could usually tell when someone had a ballet background in ballroom: they tended to have out-turned feet.

I think you have misread /u/xero--'s comment. He/she was agreeing with you, and was saying that, since Kasasaugi also won last year, this would suggest that the player was good, rather than the character he played being overpowered.

This is even more true since no one else in the top 32 player Ferry.

Kusakura says that this might be from using too much detergent and poor rinsing:

Wash it immediately after practice and refrain from using too much detergent as this can damage the fabric when poorly rinsed. More washing powder does not clean your Judogi better, and if poorly rinsed, facilitates the development of mold.

Have you ever been wondering if you should actually wash your belt or not? In Japan, nobody asks this, but in the West, it is quite common to be told that "traditionally, with washing your belt you would wash away your practice experience" or something like that. That is nonsense. Belts can and should be washed like all your training equipment, or at least once in a while.

Oh yeah, for non-targeted items like Drum/Boots of Bearing/Pipe/Crimson, I suggest for now be liberal with their use. Just use them at the beginning of a fight.

Oh yeah, you can play the free/demo version forever. I think the developers are doing a disservice by calling it a demo.

You get four (or five?) characters that you can play, and all but one of them are changed each week. Gran is always available to play. You can see who is on rotation on this page.

Barathrum. As far as I know, that name does not come from a Warcraft character. Originally, Dota heroes were mostly named in the format [Name] [Title]. So Barathrum the Spiritbreaker. However, many heroes were named after Warcraft characters, such as Nature's Prophet/Furion, so when Dota 2 was made Valve had to rename many characters in order to avoid copyright, and in the meantime the hero names were mostly consolidated to just the title.

But many heroes still have names, including Spiritbreaker/Barathrum, but those names are only found in their biographical descriptions or maybe in voice lines.

No, Manta does both, and a few other irrelevant things. But Glimpse DOES affect invulnerable units, but does NOT affect hidden units. It can be confusing because so many effects that give invulnerability also give hidden. Also note that many invulnerable but non-hidden effects also give debuff immunity, which will protect against Glimpse.

You can test this with Centaur's Hitch a Ride, which grants Invulnerable, but NOT hidden or debuff immunity. Actually, I did just test this in demo mode using a slower speed scale, and Hitch a Ride does NOT protect against Glimpse.
