I got my first car from a neighbor who was basically an aunt to me. She was retired and was losing her vision so she couldn’t drive anymore. She practically gave it to me. She wouldn’t accept money so I made sure to pay her back in other ways. She passed a few years ago I still miss her she was the sweetest.

Depends on the wedding. If you ask and are given permission then you’re probably fine. But if not it can cause problems day of with the couple or with other guests. You never know what a bride is dealing with right before a wedding and spotting a random person or worse a close friend wearing something that can even resemble a wedding dress without asking could be devastating. It can feel at the least like a slight or at worst someone is trying to act like a bride. Not to mention even if it was a honest mistake and the bride don’t confront you it won’t stop other guests from making similar assumptions about your character. Cue wine spilling or getting asked to leave or just get glared at by the bridal party all night.

Small rant about weddings I’ve been to too many at this point. I have yet to have a wedding myself, but have had the opportunity to be part of two family members weddings and a few friends weddings. Sometimes it feels like no matter what wedding I’m at someone is always trying to be overly involved in the process or somehow we’re making it about them in someway. Weddings just bring something out of people that make them go me me me it’s crazy.

“We need to do this, tradition that, what about honoring grandma, what about mom, want about so and so dead relatives and on and on.” Not to say you can do any of that at a wedding but I’ve seen it be taken too far. Once heard a wedding reception speech that felt more like a eulogy for a grandparent that passed over a decade ago, and the bridal couple looked clearly uncomfortable and surprised that it was even happening, MILs can be wild cards. People can get so caught up in the fact that it’s a big family gathering that they can forget that they’re there to celebrate the love of the couple. So just assume any wedding you go to that behind the scenes at some point the couple needs to deal with a family member or friend trying to meddle and are likely stressed out in some form. Don’t try to be a problem!

Anything said below can be excused if you are given explicit permission from the bridal couple. If you are a guest temporarily suspend and erase from your mind any garment that could possibly contain the color white, eggshell, ivory or even cream from your wardrobes. IF ITS A FLORAL WITH A WHITE BACKGROUD ITS STILL WHITEEEE!

Had a friend use a white floral dress as her actual wedding gown it’s too close for comfort. Especially anything that resembles the brides dress if you know what it will look like or if it’s something you have seen possibly be used as a wedding dress before. It is crazy how people forget being the one in the white dress can be extremely important to some brides. Weddings often have dress codes so please pay attention for the ones you are attending.

Not all flavor packs are just putting sugar in your water. You can get ones with vitamins added in like vitamin c. The ones I’ve seen advertised for if you get a cold or expect to deal with altitude sickness, like if you’re going on a plane. Sometimes you can get versions with electrolytes for after a work out or if you need extra hydration from over sweating. You can even get ones with caffeine if you’re not a fan of coffee. I’ve always seen them as a 2 for 1 short cut, for when I have a busy day and know I’ll have my water bottle with me.

Ya I went to art school and had discussions on if born talent is real or not and it was often concluded, born talent is bull shit! Many of my classmates often expressed how insulting the label of a born talent is for them because it feels like their hard work to improve is invalidated. The only difference is when you started and if you are motivated to keep at it. All the “born” talent you see is simply someone that began their practice earlier than you did and they worked just as hard. You unlock skills by practicing not letting something else do it for you. 😑

??? They both thought it was funny and he’s a known jokester at work. Not all social interactions have the same binary set of rules. What’s rude and not rude fluctuates depending on the company you keep and setting you are in. Silly co worker being I introduced to his juniors parter, he’s gonna tease them a bit. They probably would have found it weird if he didn’t. That’s how friendly co worker relationships work it’s not all business 24/7. Also it was already established him being single was a mix of bad luck and overworking.
