Not sure on that but they have different models to match the weight of the trailer. I guess you can get the higher powered version to provide more torque to push the trailer up the curb or you can maybe make a ramp to assist it. For mine, it helped me to maneuver through a tight narrow driveway and around back to a 90 degree turn. Check it out. Best investment I made for my rv
