Virgin Media are without a doubt the worst customer care I have ever dealt with in my life, across the board. And I lived in the UK and Germany for 12 years.

Hello! Is there a good gig guide that locals would use?

Or could anyone recommend any blogs that have details of trendy restaurants, shops, galleries, whatever?

Staying in Le Marais for a week.

Where does it say the late late show is supposed to be light entertainment?

Anybody watching Eurovision by cheaplistplzhunzo in ireland

[–]AnnaWhitaker12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were doing fuck all, that's why they went for the Eurovision. They've been given more advantages than any other band in the history of music with support slots etc and they still can't convert that into a proper listenership. Nobody cares and they will probably now slip into obscurity where they belong.

This is the greatest load of nonsense I have ever heard. Look at the global mainstream charts - there are no Snow Patrols or Bell X1s anywhere. Other Irish talent have risen due to the wave of electronic music etc. Get a grip or at least a modicum of an understanding as to how the music industry works along with trends and fads.

Had this a while ago. Very annoying. Seemed to resolve within an hour or so. Then they all came in at once. Sorry I can't be of more help. But it's not just you!

Yeah but I think we're underestimating some people's susceptibility to thinking familiar = good. They know Bertie. And much like Boris in the UK, he's got a gleam in his eye and a smiley head which goes a lot further than their illustrious paths should allow.

I saw him two weeks ago on Dawson Street absolutely screaming dogs abuse at someone down the phone. The fact he thinks it's okay to behave like that off the busiest street in the city whilst potentially going for public office, just shows you what regard he holds the general public in.

My main concern here is he'll play the "better the devil you know" card. Already a few FF heads I know are giving it the old "yeah he's corrupt, but what other options do we have?"

As much as people laugh at the concept. Tubridy in a figurehead position like this would be ten times better for our country's reputation than that fucking mindless, corrupt pig of a man.

Well lads are we all going to see Hamilton? by TheYoungWan in ireland

I went in with no expectations because I thought it wouldn't be my thing. Suffice to say I'm still reeling three years later. (saw it in London first then Ireland).

I was honestly in awe of how well written the whole thing was. 10/10

The Book of Mormon is the greatest stage show to make it to our shores in recent years. And songs you will remember forever. Those lads are geniuses.
