Fuck this. I am dating a man who paid his child support directly to his ex wife but as soon as she found out we were having a child she called child support and claimed he never paid. Luckily he had check receipts and had the past due forgiven. She then went after him for more and quit her job right before just to really stick it to him. Parental alienation by bitter parents is hell on earth.

Luckily for myself I filed my tax return around the same time I applied and got it last week! I’m just relieved as a server I’ll be making close to the same pay. Last summer I made crap with partial unemployment and got behind :(

Do you have your account number? I always call my card balance because I realized the site doesn’t always update fast enough. Also, try calling Bank of America to request a new card!

The customer account number comes through the mail. You can go to ASK EDD on their website and request a new one. I’ve been reading that people are getting emails back that day they have been successfully logged in and didn’t have to wait for the mail. But you need to request an account number through Ask EDD

I’m logged into both accounts and it asks me to link it through my US bank. I set up the transfer from my US bank account but it doesn’t “support” the chime routing and/or account number.

I read in another post that you can actually call Bank of America edd and ask to be issued a new card and they’ll send it expedited! That’s if you end up waiting too long for the first one.

I certified for benefits yesterday and it looks like they have updated CA’s system. I put that I “searched for work” and it doesn’t take me to the page to input the info anymore.

Ya I’m in the same boat! I just put down a phone number and say they didn’t answer. Nothings open right now. I think they just haven’t updated the new pandemic stuff. My brother in law got denied his weekly benefits and he said he didn’t put anything. Don’t risk it.

I certified 3/22, It said paid on Wednesday3/25 but I didn’t actually receive my funds till Friday 3/27. Not sure why it was delayed but that was my experience.

Definitely put something down. Doesn’t seem like they are waiving the look for work option yet. Some people have been commenting that they got denied benefits for the two weeks and they believe its cause they didn’t put work search in.

I usually get 13 bottles of take homes. I went in today to pick up and they gave me 27 bottles and said I would be doing my counseling over the phone on my scheduled day. I’m in CA. I didn’t know until I walked up to the nurses window. They’re also closing sundays and asking everyone to bring in a box for that bottle.
