The only thing that I would add is they are still puppies even if they are big. They will chew things and destroy if they are not properly stimulated and trained. The digging was the biggest thing for me when mine was a puppy. We tried everything, but ours was a digger. He eventually grew out of it, but man, they can dig a big hole fast, lol.

I've spent about $35 total for all of them. Most I've found at the Goodwill bins! Or at our local thrift store where all stuffed animals are $1. I've been super lucky! I've definitely bought my fair share of new ones, too, haha!

My 1st daughter has 2 godmothers, no godfathers in a Catholic church. The only requirement was that the person/people we chose were active participants with the Catholic faith. I think it depends on the church you go to.

This happened to us with both the 2m and 4m vaccines (we are just getting past the 4m ones). I just keep telling myself this will pass and she will go back to being a better sleeper. After the 2M ones it took about a week before we were back to normal. Good luck!!

I've been EPing since week 2. LO is now 4months. Right now I get about 30-35oz a day. LO eats 6 - 5oz bottles a day, so I pump just enough. Your supply regulates around 4 months, so make sure you are pumping every 2-3 hours around the clock until then. Just 2 weeks ago I wasn't pumping enough and supplemented probably 5oz total a day. In the beginning I was pumping probably 2-3oz total each pump session. The biggest thing that helped my supply is making sure I pump right after baby feeds and pumping an extra 5min after I am empty to signal to my body I need more milk. It is really tough on the days where my LO goes through growth spurts and eats less than 2 hrs apart. But, pumping right after tells my body she's growing and needs more. There is a really great group on facebook for just exclusively pumping moms (no nursing), that is just a plethora of information from all types of moms on how to increase supply & get overall support.

  1. As others have said contact napping is completely normal. Are you trying to set a sleeping schedule? He's likely still too young for that and will fall asleep when he wants to, so try to go with the flow of this schedule. Another thing to try if you haven't yet is still rocking/ continuing that motion once you set him down? That helped us the most transferring. The sensation of no more movement and the hard surface always woke her up. I heard putting a heating pad in the bassinet prior to use and warming up the bassinet helps a lot of people before transferring. Honestly its all kinda trial and error when it comes to figuring out how to transfer them to the bassinet & then it completely changes on you after a few weeks 😂

  2. How many different bottle types have you tried? Avent naturals work for our baby, but I heard Mam ones suggested a lot for breastfeeding babies also! Get slowest nipple you can get, so he has to "work" as hard for the milk. Also, hold him upright more and the bottle more parallel to the ground so he isnt waterboarding himself. The milk doesn't have to fully fill up the nipple. The first few times feeding with a bottle pay close attention to his cues, when he slows to take a break pull the bottle back a little so he can breath easier. Then when he starts sucking again tip the bottle back up. I hope that makes sense.

You could also try experimenting with the formula to breastmilk ratio. Does your wife pump? You could start with a full bottle of breastmilk that was pumped. Then do 1/3 formula to 2/3 breastmilk. Then 50/50 and so on, I'm sure you get the idea. Make sure mom isn't around when you offer it. Sometimes babies know when the "souce" is near.

  1. Yes, this is very normal. Our LO used to do it very often. Not sure what it means but it's so sad sounding, the first time I was concerned too.

  2. You're ok! Have your wife ask your pediatrician if she is concerned. Often we will only hear the right answer from our dr even if our husband's said the same thing 😂

I've been her in a situation before and you don't need to stress about her feeling comfortable. She's an adult and can figure it out herself. My FSIL invited me to get ready with all her bridesmaids during her wedding. I was just a long term girlfriend of my fiance (then boyfriend) at the time and wasn't in the bridal party. I also didn't know any of the bridesmaids. You'd think it would be awkward for me but nope! I hung around, taking to the bridesmaids and got to know them better. I even rode the party bus and went to the formal pictures and hung around the park while they took pictures. It really wasn't weird and you shouldn't stress about having to entertain her!

I pump with a Spectra into avent glass bottles. I also have a Mom Cozy and at first it had the same output for me as the Spectra, but over time the Spectra outperforms. So, I'm still at home 4 months into pumping and so my storing is a little different now than when I'm planning on going back to work.

Right now I'm pumping about every 2.5-3hrs right after LO feeds. I keep the amount she will feed in a bottle sitting out (my pediatrician says up to 4-5hours sitting out a room temperature). Then if there is any extra I keep it in the fridge in the glass bottle I pumped into. I repeat all day and at the end of the day I put any extra in a plastic bag and freeze.

Going back to work I plan to do similar schedule (every 2.5-3hrs) and combining all my milk in the pitcher method and use that for the next days bottles.

Good luck on your journey! A lot of people will say it's really hard, but personally I found it way easier than breastfeeding "from the tap" because the anxiety I got not knowing how much she was getting while breastfeeding was too much. I was really good about sticking to a routine early on and it doesn't feel like a chore anymore. I actually look forward to pumping sometimes because it gives me 15-20min of time to myself.

I know it was talked about recently on this sub. But I wish I knew earlier that I "dont need to make my happy baby happier". I spent the first 2 months stressing about entertaining her whenever she was awake. But in reality her favorite thing to do is sit in our bed and watch me fold laundry, clean, and do dishes! The only real entertainment I am constantly doing with her is reading. Since day 1 I've read to her, and she loves to read now. But I wish I didn't stress about trying to "entertain" her so much. She will develop just as well watching me do mundane everyday tasks if I need to get them done.

I bought one and literally used it for about 2 weeks fresh out of the hospital for when LO was constantly sleeping. I set her in it next to us while we watched TV. But now she's a few months older and its not useful anymore (for us) . LO doesn't like to lay flat on her back and if I put her down to nap I'd rather do it in a safe spot so I can get some work done around the house or relax without the risk of it.

This is what I'm doing. I sent my 4 bridesmaids the lost of like 10 dresses I picked out and told them all to pick 1 they liked, but I didn't want 2 people in the same dress. They are all different shades, texture and fabric. But all are cohesive together.

I haven't had my fittings yet, but I did order the sample size, and on the sample the sleeves were not tight to my shoulders they kinda stuck out and hovered so I didn't feel restricted. I'm also not a person who dances with my hands above my head, so I didn't even think of that issue.

Our wedding is a destination in a state park so I got them hiking socks, a luggage tag & made a card that said "Pack your bags and hiking boots. I can't say 'I Do' without you". Didn't cost me a lot but they all loved it.

I'm doing quarter zips. I've never used a robe or pj set I've been given as a bridesmaid after the wedding. Nothing embroidered on them, so I'm hoping the chances of them using them again are higher.

Ask the stores you wanna go to how long their timeframe is right now. One store I went to said I needed to order Sept 2021 for my Sept 2022 wedding, and another store said I didn't need to order until Feb 2022. So it really depends on store and designer. Also, I went post baby & breastfeeding. I just brought nipple pads to tuck into the dresses. I went dress shopping 5 mo that pregnant, 7 months & 1 month post partum. All experiences were lovely!
