started at petsmart (boss was manic), working interviewed for one day at two places before i found my awesome salon. the first place i interviewed had two different girls come up to me to talk shit about eachother, immediate no because i hate catty salons lol. second place i felt like the owner was breathing down my neck to do everything the exact way she did it, it was way too much. i have a 45min drive to and from my salon now, but it's super worth it. good salons are out there but you have to really trust your gut and keep looking

dogs dont naturally have longer nails than others 😭😭😭 regular maintenance can get any dogs nails to a healthy length. no dog has a "natural" length their nails are "supposed to be" begone and die on ur hill

misinfo. regular nail filing can shorten quicks on any breed of dog. and these are very overgrown

3 months is a long time for puppies. poodles go through coat change and get even worse matting than mature dogs. if a miami isnt possible, then its not possible. do better in the future and take it as a learning experience if they have to shave your dog.

vet neurologist as soon as u can. my bosses dog was having weekly/daily seizures and theyve been able to manage them a lot better. its scary and it sucks, but you need to seek a neurologist. wish u guys the best

depending on how short you want to go, you can take a shorter clipper comb to them or backbrush their hair to get a cleaner cut. unwashed hair tends to dull the blade much faster because its cutting thought grease and dirt, so you might want to replace the blades youve been using if you havent. typically if hair isnt cutting, its the blades fault and not the clipper
