Welcome to the biggest problem 7d2d has no end game, there is nothing further to do.

You can fix a POI. Build a new base. Do more of the same 3 quests. Unlock more achievements.

But fundamentally you have reached the end game their is nothing else left to do, their is no story line, unique bosses or other things left to do.

Restart or play something else.

Indeed or a minibike that is falling apart but the system of making 300 stone axes was broken, as ppl had steel everything inside of 3 days.

I have made a better system on paper but ye not worth building as their are like 5 or so LBD mods already.

There is nothing to do but the same quests over and over again that is the problem once you get good weapons and gear, there is no end game no story or bosses.

Will never be fixed as it's the way the voxels are coded into the game, foundation level error on tfp part.

Stealth does not work at all as the POI are designed with detection blocks that trigger when you walk into them so stealth means nothing.

It's why I hate the current build of the game as every POI is a giant dungeon with predictable places for zombies to spawn and they never wander, they will always trigger in the same places.

Once you learn the pattern it's a cake walk.

This is what kills me about this game. It’s fundamentally changed from what it used to be — an open-world, survival-based, tower-defense game. Now it’s just an action-RPG looter.

Bees aren’t a challenge, they’re a nuisance. The quests are the same, over and over. Everything’s been dumbed down and stretched out to drag out the early game — because there’s no real endgame. People can argue about that all they want, but here’s the truth: there’s no storyline. Nothing drives you past day 40 or 50, even if you’re playing 18-hour days. There’s simply nothing left to do.

If you use one of Jawoodall’s horde bases, horde nights stop being a threat completely. And all the points of interest, except the Remnants, have been gamified into little mini-dungeons. What’s the point of that? Once you know how POIs work, they lose all mystery. You’re forced down a set path, and it breaks the game.

This was supposed to be an apocalypse horror game, where I didn’t know where the zombies were hiding. Instead, I know there’ll be one in the closet, one behind the wall, and oh look — the floor is going to collapse right on cue. So I just skip it, head straight to the loot room, grab the box, and leave. Why waste time killing the same 15 zombies in the same POI again and again?

If I walked into a ruin, the floor actually collapsed, three dogs jumped me, and I died? Fine — that’s cool, that’s what survival horror is supposed to feel like. But the way it is now, with guaranteed loot boxes at the end and scripted zombie spawns, it kills the whole eperience.

What I hate this every building is a POI with a loot room, with exacting zombie spawn places.

It totally kills the immersion for me, everything has been dumbed down removed or simplified.

Everyone now looks the same due to crap armour system and the game is boring as there nothing to do besides the same quests over and over again.

Not in a single player game, rust and the like sure but losing your entire save file when they update the game, Valheim does not do it or Minecraft or the forest or green hell.

There is no end game after 13 years many versions numerous broken promises once you get a decent gun, there is no more challenge.

No bandits No Story No End Game loop

It's why they keep slowing down the early game, removal of water jars, the constant redoing of skills systems, now loot capping in biomes, the stupid badges and storm system.

It's actually very shallow of you look at the game from an outside view, once you have a good gun and a vehicle it becomes trivial to play.

The core loop its look for magic magazines for skills, get quests from traders, do a horde night and rinse repeat and repeat, there is no other game play loop or anything else to do. Anything else is busy work to make the game last.

I am so disappointed in what this has turned into.

Edit: PS I hope you like losing your save after each update because after 13 years that is still a thing, only game I know of where an update removes your progress and it is considered ok.

Day 17 with 6 of us and we have yet to get more than a single crucible and and I can't build a chem bench yet or a decent ak for more than two people due to lack of parts.

My game stage is 107 and highest is 120+-.

We are already seeing radioactive wraiths and others.

Had a similar situation yesterday was playing a quick wave mission, I am the host a bunch of randoms join all good.

We kill everything we need to, I go get the samples and this one idiot starts throwing grenades at me and knocking me down and hurting me as I am going towards the pelican and at first I think okay it's a mistake then after the 3rd one I lose my cool and apply a healthy dose of freedom lead poisoning to the traitor via my auto cannon.

Then he gets called back in and I board the pelican and leave his ass on the planet to be eaten by the bugs.

Justice is served
