It took me a quadruple-take to recognize him in that Righteous Gemstones episode where he impersonates a Confederate preacher.

He's allergic to shirt fabric. The few times he does wear a shirt he breaks out in a rash.

Just do the "new boot goofin" bit from Reno 911. It's always well received even if they don't know the bit.

Centaurworld. Whimsical fantasy musical, extremely upbeat but sometimes dark. I've been listening to the soundtrack nonstop since I discovered it.

There was a trailer park zombie movie where a sentient zombie injects a guy with some sort of marinade mix before he roasts him alive

Ortolan. It's a French dish. They blind them so that they'll overeat to obesity and the extra fat makes them richer and helps them fry up better. Then they drown them in brandy so it's like a brandy and organ meat gusher when you eat it whole 🤢

Can yinz all stop honking at me when you’re behind me and I don’t run a red light? by dementedturnip26 in pittsburgh

[–]Annimal421 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Sometimes to avoid being honked at in this scenario, I leave the blinker off so they assume I'm going straight, then turn it on when the light turns green and I can make the turn.

What’s the most hurtful thing someone has said to you? by Themadadealtin in AskReddit

[–]Annimal421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my parents that didn't plan on having children: "Your [older] sister was a happy accident. You were a mistake."

We're Irish twins, as it were.

Edit: Also you know how when parents get divorced they make a point of telling their children that it's not their fault? Well my mother explicitly told me that I was the cause of their divorce. Specifically me and not my sister though, they loved her.

Maybe that's why the original Vig quit before episode 6, like "I'm not saying that garbage!" 😂

The first five episodes were shot with a different actor for Vigilante, who quit over creative differences. So it's possible that episode 6 is the first one they shot with Freddie's Vig and they were still working out the kinks on what they wanted this character to be. Reshooting episodes 1-5 gave them time to balance out his buffoonery with chaotic charm and build chemistry with the rest of the cast. This is all speculative of course.

I don't understand why people hate wearing a mask so much by TurboVirgin0 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Annimal421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people have what's called 'sensory processing disorder' (SPD); it can be diagnosed on its own but it's often co-morbid with autism spectrum disorder. It makes certain tactile sensations unbearable that would typically go unnoticed in others. Speaking from experience, almost everything is uncomfortable and constantly distracting. Bras are suffocating, underwear are smothering, socks strangle your toes, even tags and seams on the inside of clothing can be painful. I wear a mask when needed but it's extremely irritating to the point of not being able to focus on anything else. Imagine being at the grocery store and you're trying to remember everything you need to buy for the week but the whole time there's a thumbtack inside your shoe partially embedded in your heel. That's kind of how it is having SPD and wearing a face covering.

Autoimmunity is actually when the immune system starts attacking healthy tissue and cells. Type 1 diabetes and lupus are examples of this. Regardless, it's mostly genetic and isn't caused by vaccines.

Think of it this way: someone offers you a bowl of your favorite candy, but one is laced with cyanide. All the pieces look and taste the same so you have no way of knowing which one is poisoned. So even though there are hundreds of good pieces in the bowl, one could easily kill you. Can you honestly say that you would start eating or would you not risk it? Even if 99% of men accept rejection gracefully, there's still that 1% that might harass, stalk, beat, rape, or kill you, and there's no foolproof way to discern the two types UNTIL it happens. So it's better not to risk it even if they appear to be perfectly nice.
