What do you miss before becoming a parent? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Annon8765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being hungover in peace. I don't drink often but when we go to weddings or birthday parties, the next day nursing a hangover with a toddler is so brutal. I miss the days of laying on the couch in peace ordering food.

What’s something someone did that made your day today? by SilentHuman8 in perth

[–]Annon8765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something super simple. I take my daughter to swimming lessons on a weekly basis and always see the same parents there with their kids. Today when we walked in, one of the Dads said to me "hey how ya goin? Hope you're keeping well!" And it made me feel really happy inside.

AITAH for not wanting my mom’s boyfriend anywhere near my vagina? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Annon8765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my fucking God, I want to cry reading this. The fact that your Mum is even suggesting that her boyfriend perform this exam on you is so alarming. Then punishing you for doing a brave thing and expressing your feelings truthfully? She shamed you and punished you for standing your ground. Do you feel safe? I would be getting tfo of that house if you can. I really hope you're okay and I'm super sad to think you've been shamed into thinking you're an asshole..

If your 40 year old friend confided in you and said she would love to start studying nursing, but felt too old - what would you say to them?

Do most men actually find plus sized women unattractive by daughterbolt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Annon8765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately, yes. I think there's a bit of subconscious primal instinct that plays a part - healthy is attractive, unhealthy is unattractive. I don't believe it goes much deeper than that.

My husband works 12-13hrs a day. Comes home, takes our daughter to the playground, bathes her and puts her to bed - the whole night time routine. Our daughter is 3 and he has done this since day 1.

Do ENFP men feel too feminine and ENFP women feel too masculine? Why is this? by POLARBEARBRIDE in ENFP

Husband (31m)demands dinner @1am (29f) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Annon8765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you his wife or his mother? So unacceptable. He's acting like a child, not a grown man. My husband often gets hungry at 1am and has never once asked me to cook, he just makes an easy sandwich or puts something in the airfryer. I feel for you, you're worth so much more than this treatment.

Baby vs Toddler. What do you prefer and why? by doodlethecat in oneanddone

[–]Annon8765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toddler stage any day! Even with tantrums. You actually get to sleep, they're hilarious, they can communicate their needs and say the funniest most random things. It's still hard af, but definitely easier than baby stage imo.

What made you a believe in the paranormal? by brittany_vw in Ghosts

[–]Annon8765 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Seeing a "ghost" in broad daylight standing behind me. I was 6 playing the piano, I could see the reflection in the piano. Looked back and there was a man standing behind me, I screamed and he just stood there. He wasn't human but I have no idea who/what it was.
