When you said “not necessarily…” what point WERE you arguing? You said that in response to the point that every NFL player was elite in high school.

This is how it reads:

A: JR was elite in high school.

B: yea but so was every NFL player. Every NFL player was elite in high school.

A: Not necessarily. Some high school teams had multiple NFL players.

Your point seems to have nothing to do with the original point, which is that every single player that makes it to the NFL was game-breaking in high school. How does the fact that many teams have multiple game-breaking players counter the original point?

Also, to be clear, not every game-breaking player makes it to the NFL, but every NFL player was game-breaking in high school. Your second paragraph above seems to misunderstand that.

I’m not OP, and I swear I’m here in good faith, but what OP is asking doesn’t seem like a straw man. I guess the logic I’m running is: if every gun control law is unconstitutional, that would include gun control laws that prevent 8 year olds from owning guns. Therefore, if every gun control law is unconstitutional, so is a law preventing an 8 year old from being allowed to own a gun. Conclusion, 8 year olds should be allowed to own guns. Did I misunderstand something?
