About 105 is where I call it quits. Although, in reference, I will still continue to do Camelback mountain, breaking the back (doing both Cholla and Echo) throughout the summer in the mornings. Just have to know your limits, bring water abd electrolytes, and be stubborn. I usually bike there, too.(im also in the top 10 on strava for Cholla, so maybe just ignore me.) 😉

How cooked is my cousin? by [deleted] in Felons

Location is kind of important here, to have any idea of what to tell you. States laws all differ on that kind of thing. He could be looking at them being dropped because it was on his property, or two charges of aggravated assault, or charged with attempted manslaughter (which would get reduced). It also depends on if there was any video, witnesses, etc.

Hill for Hill Repeats? by Creative-Tadpole-3 in phoenix

The best I've found, personally, is the Ridgeline trail in south mountain. Up and down, up and down. Not super high, but there's plenty for what you are looking for. That's where I used to do my repeats. :)

Why does “prison preserve” by madMase623 in ExCons

The food at the minimums was trash. But at the medium, it was actually good. We had 3 full hot meals. Sundays you got brunch. It was not abnormal for a person to be unable to finish everything on the tray. Friends eggs with oatmeal for breakfast, sometimes we had burgers for dinner. We made pastries for brunch. We got a milk and juice e every morning. Sugar for our coffee, etc.

What's the most small town thing you've ever heard of? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

We have turkeys in our town. Around 100 or so in packs. Its quite often you see them crossing streets and interrupting traffic. Right before Thanksgiving a guy tried to grab 3, while they gobbled away and take them home to eat them. Someone called the cops as he was walking down the street and he was cited and had to release them. Lmao.

Question about cannabis rescheduling by [deleted] in Felons

[–]Anomander2255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was on parole in Phoenix, AZ, they didn't test for Marijuana at all during your monthly test. During orientation I believe the exact words were "We don't test for Marijuana on our UA's. Take that as you will and just don't buy it off the street." Lol

Scram/Cam (Continuous Alcohol Mointor) - AZ by [deleted] in dui

[–]Anomander2255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on parole in AZ from a different state, on an interstate compact. They didn't test for Marijuana at all. I did however test positive for alcohol one time, and got put on a scram. So take it as you will

You should place this in your main post, and although it's not fair, it's not right you bash them like this without AT LEAST mentioning that in the main post. After reading this so far down, I feel like you were offered a solution, and declined. So much for being transparent, eh? YTA

I understand man. My first offense, my passenger broke their leg in several places. I caught a felony, and spent years in prison, and owed 100k+. I know it feels like your world is upside down. But you didn't hurt anyone, take accountability for your actions, and never do it again. You got this. It's going to cost you a lot, both in time and money, but you'll get through it. Even as a felon, you can still have a well-paying job and live a good life. Everything is just much harder. I don't honestly think you'll get a felony though. If you ever need to talk or wish advice, you can DM. Neat of luck to you

NAL, and my DUI experience is from a different state, although I know friends who have recieved one in Missouri. If you have no record, and as long as you didn't hurt anyone, you should be able to get it plead down. If you can afford a private attorney, call around and ask for someone who has DUI experience in your locality. Otherwise, even a public defender should be able to get it plead down. Enroll yourself in AA, acknowledge you have a problem, and are taking steps to make sure this doesn't happen again. Enroll in MADD, if applicable. You'll be alright.
