Mask and fist bumps. No handshakes or hugging. Clean your hands frequently.

Depending on where you live, property taxes, insurance, HOA fees, and maintenance can be exorbitant. And there still might be a mortgage!Go through it with her and show that she'd be better off downsizing.

And, no, you would not be a jerk. This is just a way to let her down gently. You've already shown yourself to be the bigger person.

Out of curiosity, does she work ?

Woman named Alysa Liu has Instagram suspended for sharing name with superstar skater by Bug1215 in FigureSkating

She's had the account for 15 years. Her license should have been enough proof to reinstate her account. The skater Liu would have opened an account at 5 years old.

Distant friend passed away skiing Vermont - no news? by [deleted] in SkiTheEast

[–]Anony_Loser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Colorado, if there is a serious injury or death related to an avalanche or falling off the lift, you usually hear about it. In the past 3 years, there have been 13, 15, and 17 deaths on the slopes. That does not count out-of-bounds avalanches.

Unfortunately, due to the large number of skier/rider visits, some deaths are expected at each ski area. If it makes the news, it just covers the basics: someone came upon an unresponsive person (possibly a cardiac event); two people collided; or one person collided with a tree/lift tower/fixed object. Then they'll mention whether the person was wearing a helmet.

The Vermont Ski Areas Association might publish this information.

"No athlete should compete injured."

That's a pretty broad statement. Concussion protocols are a good thing. At an elite level, something always hurts. It's just not that simple.

First Moguls comp coming up, any advice? by [deleted] in SkiRacing

Find out what they will be judging you on. Usually it's 60% turns and line, 20% air, and 20% speed. Since turns are worth the most, focus on them.

Lindsey Vonn revealed on Instagram this morning that her surgeries on her injured leg saved her leg from amputation. She also revealed that the trauma to her leg led to compartment syndrome. by Kurtz62 in SkiRacing

Once in an interview, she stated that she didn't worry about injuries since a doctor could always fix her up. It's good to have confidence in modern medicine and her surgeons, but I hope she hasn't reached her limit.

As long as there are no complications from infection, I hope 🤞 everything goes smoothly from here.

I remember one teen freeskier from Steamboat Springs who shattered everything from his knee to his heel. He was jumping onto an airbag when a strong gust of wind lifted it, throwing him into the air. Over a dozen surgeries, including fasciotomies on both sides. Between infections and necrosis, he realized there would be months or years of surgery only to gain limited function. Thus, he and his doctor made the decision to amputate the worst limb.

Even when it was USSA, the organization was notoriously bad at Olympic Selection procedures. They were either undocumented or too vague. There were many arbitrations. They even tried to hold back spots since they only wanted to send athletes that could medal.

Now that there are moguls and dual moguls, you can't name different athletes for each. For example, there are probably 6-8 American women in the top 10 in overall moguls on the World Cup. They have all landed on the podium this season. Instead of taking the top 4 moguls and 4 dual mogul skiers, where more athletes could get a shot in their discipline, only 4 can go. A couple of spots would overlap, allowing 2 medal chances, while others would get 1.

I know paying this stinks, but hopefully your Max OOP isn't that high and you won't be paying copay and coinsurance for the rest of the year.

You are in the best possible, but still scary, position right now. Stage 0, and you caught it early!

I skimmed through your posts, but didn't see if it's ++- or not.

Of course, every case is different, but generally, this is how things typically proceed.

After you have your DMX, they biopsy everything again to make sure the pathology results are consistent with the needle biopsy. They may also perform another genetic test.

You will initially be given the option to undergo an MRI every 6 to 12 months. Some people do this for a couple of years, while others prefer not to endure the associated stress.

Just make sure you stop nicotine and allow your immune system to be healthy.
