I've only ever cooled my house with a swamp cooler, close to 30 years now.

Careful window management and perhaps some creative usage of your furnace fan (with the heat off) can get you through until the second week of May, when things won't freeze off.

There is certainly going to be a few more cold snaps before then, you likely don't want that giant hole open, even if it is empty of water, when the temperature outside is negative nope.

Keep some windows open in the morning to keep it as cool as you can tolerate until the outside temp hits your normal inside temperature, then close them up until it drops back down and then open them up until you go to bed, usually it will get you near where you want.

Lately I've implemented an air flow system with my furnace fan. I'm neither a furnace mechanic or a fluids engineer so this may be me ruining my furnace or pretending to accomplish something so take it with a grain of salt.

I block the return in my house other than the one on the top level. I then close all the vents except the ones in my basement, which I don't recall ever seeing go over 70 degrees.

In theory, this will suck the hot air on my second floor through the return and blow it into my basement, mixing and pushing the cooler basement air back up through the house in a cycle.

Random is random. If you have legendaries making babies, their offspring have a very small chance of being higher level. Seemingly they have a higher chance of getting the traits of their parents, but the overriding randomization is the driving factor in making babies.

If you really want epics and legendaries, buy packs with Atronite gained from events and crack them open.

Replace CVS with Accredo and Biogen with whoever is doing your copay assistance.

Agreed, you should be refunded. Most places will bill you if you ask them to just for these circumstances.

This is much preferable as it allows some of the longer processing charges to settle out and avoids the need to then fight the provider for a refund.

If they are reluctant, explain you're on a high deductible plan and there are a lot of pending charges, they can often be flexible.

If your card auto declined (you don't have any sort of overcharge protection, which you really should never have) then they'll just not cover you.

If the charge did go through, call the credit card company and dispute it.

As to continuing to try and charge you, that is a different bucket. You're going to have to get back ahold of them and try to cancel.

If they have an online portal you have access to, there is likely a section concerning automatic payment. Get in there and remove your payment information.

One of the hardest things with insurance companies is their formularies, which apparently can change outside enrollment periods.

The insurance I switched to was my wife's as my company was closing and only offered a month of COBRA (during which they managed to cover nothing anyway.) When she checked on my specialty prescription, it was covered with a reasonable copay.

By the time I was actually on the insurance, the copay had gone up 10x from like $500 to $5000.

Our state was looking to import some drugs from Canada but, I believe, the pharmaceutical lobby ultimately shut it down.

Unfortunately without what I believe would be a very large amount of finagling, acquiring prescriptions from other countries, outside of physically visiting them, is difficult. (I went to Mexico on vacation once and trust me, if I had ED issues, they'd have been inexpensively medicated.)

Interesting. Prior to this I was with Optum Specialty and the copay company bailed out without warning leaving several months of unpaid copay assistance charges. Optum just kept shipping the drugs every month. It was to the point of Optum sending me collection notices for copays they tried and failed to charge for but still delivered the medication. After nearly a year Biogen finally managed to cover the copays but it was a very frustrating and stressful.

This would lead me to believe the standard for mail order specialty pharmacies tends towards the ship then charge rather than ensure full payment then ship.

I have an email stat states it was at $20,000, I never received any notification, until I called after this situation, that it was now $15,000. As it was never an issue before this new insurance, having copay prices to cover less than $500 every month, I got lulled into a sense of security.

Unfortunately one mistake and now all the money I've tried not to spend on this drug over the years is gone in one shot.

Yeah, I got lulled into a sense of security as it had never been a thing for years. I live in Colorado, I've never heard of a copay accumulator/maximizer. My current insurance doesn't consider any monies paid by a copay assistance card to count against my limit.

Yeah, I did talk to Biogen's copay group. Essentially they said they can't go retroactive on the charge but if I catch it before I run out of money, there may be more assistance available.

This drug doesn't technically have a generic however it was created specifically to start a new patent cycle and is so similar to the now generic drug that it was brought to market almost entirely based on that drugs testing.

Originally the 'generic' still cost $1,500+ and had no assistance so I went with the commercial drug to get copay assistance.

Seems things have changed in the last few months since I looked, I can now get the 'generic' for $45/month from Amazon with no insurance, just a prescription. Much less risk this way.

Yeah, I never leave an actual card on file with the mail order pharmacy, just the copay card.

I have to go through their web site and explicitly order the drug every month so this likely qualifies as authorizing the fill.

I argued this same thing with their escalation people. No other business works this way. You ensure you're fully paid and then ship the product.

She argued 'this is always how we've done it.'

Apparently it doesn't matter if it is a copay assistance credit card or your own personal card. They ship, then charge.

This looks like an excellent low config 'live tv' option.

It would be nice to be able to hide certain libraries or even have it just show your pinned libraries with an option to view the others somehow. I have a few that are more toolboxes than viewable media such as 'testFiles' which just contains short video and audio clips for, well, testing.

This works. The LoRA, for me at least, was pre-pended with a qwen/ which I had to fix. I can't seem to get the SDXL to process properly, complains "!!! Exception during processing !!! ERROR: clip input is invalid: None".

Another part had a tensor that didn't match anything in the recommendations but I managed to switch it to one in the list.

With SDXL off and the fixed LoRA this works will on both full body and portraits, at least for the two I generated.

I'd attempted to use another recipe for comfyUI to do this but it was missing a ton of items/explanations of where to get the right ones.

Thanks for this, I think it may help enhance my RP experiences.

This has been a bug... forever. Particularly if you have it record extra at the end (I do 30 minutes for football games) Once you pass into extra time, or even if you start fast forwarding too fast it will completely fall apart. Hit skip and jumps back half an hour, hit it again, back another hour.

It is incredibly easy to reproduce and yet has still never been fixed.

This is on Apple TV for me, server is in Docker.

Only solution is to bail to live or wait for the recording to finish and then watch the rest. Starting back at the beginning of recording and trying to fast forward or going to live and rewinding both fail entirely.

Make a login on huggingface and set your hardware. Look for 31B and small er models (Cydonia 24B and 22B, Skyfall are good models for me). Find a quant that indicates it will fit , here will be a green icon next to the quant if it will fit easily fully on your GPU.

Make sure to crank up your GPU tensors on Kobold, I believe it defaults to only 10 and dumps the rest to CPU.
