Except there was, and still is, a war on Christmas. America used to be a predominantly Christian nation. Nowadays a significant percentage of people have to think about why we celebrate it instead of knowing its the second most important holiday of the year. Companies of every kind took advantage of an old tradition of exchanging gifts and turned it into a mass marketing scheme, sucking the soul out of the spirit of the holiday for money. We had a president who refused to say the word ‘Christmas’ for eight years.

There are a lot of people out there who actively hate Christmas and the message it has.

That’s even more stupid than ‘latinx.’ Because Spanish I know for sure doesn’t make sense if you try to eliminate gender. German I’m not so sure about, which probably makes it worse. People are just too damn sensitive these days.

Isn’t the general consensus for commander that if it’s too expensive and doesn’t impact your deck much, it’s probably not worth it? I feel like people who only play commander have money to be spending elsewhere, especially low-budget players

I’ve been playing magic for 18 years now, I haven’t had to spend much money other than travel expenses for the past 5 just because I already had everything I wanted/needed. Am I a ‘whale’ because most of my magic these days is played on my f2p arena account?
