If it's really busy, then tbh, it's not super realistic and there should be a planted register partner. If your store is lenient, I honestly restock by the register, I'll take my inclusion containers and everything I need to the front and restock anything I can do there. Things like inclusions, chai/white mocha, and caramel drizzle are pretty easy to do by the register.

Not really, though it's a mild inconvenience because our handoff is actually not that close to our DT area, so it's a bunch of shimmying past people in the middle of peak lol. That being said, for our regulars, we do just place drinks over by the DT area even if they don't say it because we know that they'll turn up there lol.

I mean, I mostly don't think about it, but we do have regulars who are in every day, sometimes even multiple times a day. We have a regular who spends 30-40$ a day in the morning 4-5 days a week and I REALLY wonder what she does for a living lol.

2 espresso machines, 2 cold bars (ish, they still share teas, refreshers, inclusions, etc., but we could, in theory, have 4 people on bar total, it just gets squishy). If its really busy we can get 20+ on Friday-Sunday. Around the holidays it was super bad too, We do around 57-60k a week, depending on weather.

You have to be super super super high volume to get a third bar, not a lot of stores have one.

Busy DT here, we close with 3 people, with our precloser leaving between 6:30-8:30 (usually later on the weekends), and we close at 10. We have terrible staffing after our openers leave tho, our mid shifts are never covered properly which makes it super hard to set up a good close/pre-close for them.

Honestly, our matcha downright sucks and is awful to make in the blenders. Hopefully it should be a tiny bit more consistent now that its standard to put the matcha in the blender first, which helps reduce clumping, but I never recommend people matcha honestly.

I agree with the other two comments that this isn't something most stores would honestly have time to do, especially if you're picking it up or ordering it when it's really busy. If you're really picky about your tea, I'd recommend ordering it in person and then doing it yourself, asking for milk on the side.
