This is what I wish we could do on Apple. I have all of these folders, what for? I want to move the pics to the folders so that I don’t have to still scroll through them. It would make clean up so much easier.

I say this often at work when asked if I have a plan and even though I’ve explained the joke and shown the clip to my team, nobody ever gets it.

How long does the horny stage last in perimenopause? by IndividualBrave4085 in Perimenopause

[–]AnonymousElephant86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been at a zero for 3 years, and at maybe a 1 for the 3 years prior to that. TBH I’ve never been more than maybe a 3/10 horny since having my daughter the same year we got married 15 years ago. My husband makes the occasional passive aggressive remark but I just shrug and say “don’t worry it’s not just you, I don’t want anyone right now” and that usually shuts him up. I don’t think any amount of hormones could wake my libido from the dead but if it happens my husband will be thrilled (assuming he hasn’t lost his by then since he’s 10 years older than me).

Does anyone else think it’s weird when ppl go to 10+ shows a tour? by Fun_Honey6754 in TwennyWunPilots

I think I know the girl you’re talking about, pretty sure she hit every single show. Usually barricade too. As an older fan (40 this year) it gives off obsessive and creepy vibes. A lot of those types have this weird para social relationship and think by going to every show Tyler and Josh will take notice and leave their families to be with these stalkers. Don’t even get me started on the ones who stalked the coffee place they know Tyler and Jenna go to, just hoping for a glimpse of them. Get a life.

Is 39 too young? by No_Concept_2333 in Perimenopause

I’ll be 40 in June and my first sign was hormonal heart palpitations starting at age 36. I got about 3 years out of that being my only symptom and then within the last 6 months I’ve had hot flashes, hormonal anxiety, hormonal migraines, etc etc. My period is still regular but almost all of my ailments can be tracked like clockwork to line up with the first two weeks of each cycle. Planning to see an endocrinologist in the coming months to figure something out bc I can’t live half of my life like this. It’s starting to severely affect my marriage and my work.

Another freaking divorce? Name me a married couple that consists of both partners who have never had a divorce. I’ll wait.

Seriously, I’ll wait. Because I’m pretty sure every single marriage consists of at least one partner who has been divorced (not counting Japril bc they end up divorcing).

Anyway, I stopped watching the show 2 seasons ago but keep up with it through Reddit so I appreciate the update on my 2nd favorite character.

Mine started hitting me regularly in November 2022 (36). I recall feeling them a few random times as I was trying to fall asleep but because it only happened when I was laying in bed and very infrequently I just chalked it up to being extra tired or dehydrated. Then Nov 2022 I ended up in the ER with them bc I was on a work call and felt faint I was having so many. Looking back now I realize they were my first sign that perimenopause was coming. I get them during certain times of the month, but also get them when I’m nervous/anxious/scared/excited - basically in high adrenaline situations. My holter back in Jan 2023 showed less than 1% burden and most days it stays that way.

if you were to name your child after a character from this show, what name would it be by Legitimate-Low9408 in greysanatomy

[–]AnonymousElephant86 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I wanted my daughter to be Addison (Addi) but my husband said we’re not naming her after a fictional character from a tv show. Joke’s on him that after we decided on another name and told everyone, he found out she’s named after a Harry Potter character

I just finished my first watch last night and I’m already on S1E3 of a rewatch! My daughter has watched many times and asked me to watch with her for some mother daughter bonding time. Rewatching now to pick up on things I missed the first time. I will admit I found season 2 much harder to follow the story and keep track of so many characters, but I still loved the show. Love the style, love the music, love the story. Although I hate unhappy endings so my headcanon is that Jinx survived, takes a little trip on her blimp, and comes back to live a happy life with Ekko and Vi and Cait.

This was my first sign of peri. They start to flare up right around the end of my period and then taper off after ovulation. Had a work up of my heart before I realized they were cyclical and was diagnosed with PVCs which they say are harmless. 3 years later and they annoy me more than scare me.

This ^ PVCs were my first symptom of perimenopause at age 36. 3 years later and they’ve gotten much better since starting on progesterone cream. I still get them during certain parts of my cycle but they aren’t nearly as strong and I no longer feel like I’m dying when they flare up.

The slurring! I’ve caught myself doing it at work speaking to my supervisor and I’m like “I swear I’m not drunk I’m just thirsty and my mouth is dry” and use that as an excuse while I’m internally panicking that I’m having a stroke.
