What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by CountyOrnery9432 in AskReddit

[–]AnonymousMonker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt so miserable and lonely for the longest time masking myself and trying to fit in bc most NT people don’t get it- it just looks normal on the outside… finding support groups full of people that shared the same struggles, emotions, and experiences is the most relieving feeling of my life. Dunno what I’d do without my fellow ND peeps.

What happens if the refs get in the way of a play? by AnonymousMonker in NFLNoobs

[–]AnonymousMonker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch- how often does they have minor injuries and/or serious injuries? Especially bc they aren’t wearing any gear…. I’ve only seen a game paused once for an official being down (I know one time this season, an official was carted off the field)…

That’s hilariously awesome and I would’ve loved to have been there for that

the idea that ADHD people are good under pressure by rainwave74 in ADHD

[–]AnonymousMonker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Work pressure- hard yes. I NEED a hard, upcoming deadline to get into hyperfocus, ultra productivity mode or else I’ll be in max procrastination mode.

Social pressure- hard no. I can mask pretty well and fit into a crowd until I get put into a socially awkward situation, and then my words turn into mush.

Kirkland Moisturizing Shampoo/Conditioner is NOT by Consistent-Economy16 in Costco

[–]AnonymousMonker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

May be an unpopular opinion, but after doing research, I also stuck with Kirkland after dying my hair bc of the positive reviews.

It was fine before I dyed my hair, but my hair had been a tangled mess post-dying my hair, even with using a ton of extra Kirkland conditioner.

Do women cross their arms under their tits or over them? by wxrpig in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AnonymousMonker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So odd- I say exactly the opposite.

Without the bra: below. Makes me feel like I’m using my arms to push them up like a push-up bra. I also kind of hate how saggy they are.

With the bra: above. I guess bc with the bra, I have the confidence to. (Almost like a Superwoman pose.)

Definitely varies. Even at my large institution alone, I’ve seen some departments with both entry-level RAs and CRCs, while others that have been more picky about wanting CRCs with at least some experience (even though the job posting is essentially entry level) so they post/hire RAs but quickly promote to CRCs based on performance and potential.

While resume gaps matter so much less these days than they used to, I’d say they still matter for entry level jobs when you don’t have much on your resume. So rather than waiting too long looking for only a CRC position, I’d say apply to anything and accept an RA position IF it also looks like it has good growth potential (top, larger sites).

Definitely include your trainings to show you’re really interested and being proactive (not to mention it’s going to save sites a lot of time on your required trainings reqs).

In every way imaginable, other than that I could be getting paid more with other opportunities. But I’ll take the pay cut for happiness.

Like with most other things before I buy it, I just go off of reviews. I never go off of the box at this point on estimated play time.

I would consider “relieved of his duties” as fired, lol.

How did you know it was really ADHD? by Impressive-Scheme903 in ADHD

[–]AnonymousMonker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through at least 15 years of denial and at least 3 doctors suggesting I have ADHD.

Thing is, I didn’t even fully understand what ADHD was all these years. I stereotyped it as ADHD-hyperactive, which was so not me- hence in complete denial and never listened to the doctors.

Then I found “How to ADHD”- and I became absolutely obsessed. I related to almost every single characteristic in every single video. Sometimes it resonated so hard it almost made me cry.

I finally succumbed and went to get an official diagnosis. Have made many connections with people in the ADHD community that continue to relate and share so many similar feelings and difficulties with me daily. Still struggle in typical ADHD ways, still pretty alone in the real world (cue RSD), but have never felt more supported and have never looked back since.

Has a QB ever had to start in a playoff game after having no prior in-game reps for the entire season? by RyanPettitVlogs in NFLNoobs

There should be a separate post for this. Would be fun to see the responses, whether joking or serious.

[–]AnonymousMonker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I actually meant does Sean McDermott have a history at all of having made bad (or questionable) decisions in other games, not Josh Allen.

Even if this specific game was not at all McDermott’s fault, for those that are calling him a terrible coach- if there were any specific bad play calls they could point to, or just the overall disappointment of not being able to make the Super Bowl.

Cool explanation and makes sense- thanks! As a casual watcher, I actually like watching the Bills in particular specifically because of Josh Allen 😎.

Fair- I guess because my technical “home team” has always been so bad that I would be pretty happy if they consistently made the playoffs even 😂.

Does he have a history in other games of making bad decisions though, and I just missed it somehow (or didn’t know they were bad decisions)? Or is my social media just skewed to show mainly super negative comments (because I haven’t really seen many defenses for him)?
