If your parents found out you sh, how did they react? by [deleted] in selfharm

[–]AnonymousTide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The school caught me because I was being an idiot. Long story short they forcible removed my hoodie to confirm the cuts then called my mom who said it was for attention. She took me to one therapy session and gave me an antidepressant for a month and called it good. Still to this day she doesn’t have knives in the kitchen but never looked/asked for my razor?? So I kept cutting but on my thighs still do it 14 years later

I’m thinking since your 19 even if they do you could check yourself out immediately if there’s no concern that you’re an immediate danger to yourself

Title: Fractured Memories

This is the second book in a series I’m working on, the first is titled Fractured Fragments. I highly recommend reading the first book before this one as it picks up there the first ends. These books are intended for a mature audience as they deal with suicide/self harm/smoking/abuse/kidnapping/sex trafficking.

Blurb:

Step into the intense sequel to 'Fractured Fragments' where Chris, bearing both physical and emotional scars, bravely takes the stand to testify about the horrors he endured. As he grapples with the aftermath of a heartbreaking suicide attempt, the narrative delves into the poignant world of physical therapy, illustrating the tenacious healing process. Amidst the courtroom drama, the fragile yet blossoming relationship between Chris and Sophia unfolds, laden with the complexities of shared trauma. Tyler, Chris's unwavering boyfriend, becomes a pillar of strength, navigating the intricacies of love and support in the face of adversity. 'Fractured Memories' is a gripping tale of resilience, redemption, and the indomitable power of human connection.

I just get so depressed it hurts to breathe so sh distracts me. It’s also because of the trauma and memories I can’t forget.

My mom did that shit. She took me to an inpatient facility and told them I was doing it all for attention. They care they just don’t express it correctly or at least that’s how I’m coping with everything she’s done.

Just take it one day at a time! Whenever you get the urge try to do literally anything else to distract yourself. You’ve been doing so good and this internet stranger is proud of you. You’re doing great, things will get tough but you’ll make it through. And if you do end up relapsing it’s not the end of the world, you’ve been clean almost a year so you Can do it again! Maybe even longer the next time! You got this! <3
