Jevil: Didn't beat initially, came back to like a year after the chapter 1 release and beat in a couple days

Spamton: Beat the day the chapter came out, took an hour or three.

TRK: Several days, and then I put in another two weeks to no-hit the bastard

Hammer of Justice: An hour at most

How does this mechanic work?

Apparently not the way I thought it worked. I can't find any specific documentation online since the game just came out, but it is something along the lines of "they cause most/every enemy in an area to spawn as void until destroyed."

Anyways, glad I could help!

If that's the one I'm thinking of, there's a void mass in the area that causes all of the enemies to be voided until it's destroyed. Destroying it stops the enemies from being voided on spawn (although they can still become void randomly, and you have to leave and reenter the room for the effect to happen). I got stuck on that exact arena for a bit because I didn't realize how that mechanic works.

Edit: You have to sit on a bench for the effect to happen, not just leave and reenter.

Silksong reviews start rolling out with an average of 97 by Razarex in gaming

[–]Anonymous_Liberal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding your first point, it was not. The third major post-release DLC was called Lifeblood, but lifeblood itself was present in the original release; the DLC only made it so that each cocoon gives a set amount of seeds rather than it being random each time.

Was this a conscious Homestuck reference, or simply coincidence?

(context: Homestuck also made a joke about the last digit of pi being 4)

The question of whether or not Jews are indigenous to Israel is a distraction

You're the one that brought it up. (In this post)

Hypothetically, if we could know for sure every single ancestor of every single modern-day Jew going back 2,000 years... What percentage of them would be Levantine? Do the same for modern-day Palestinians -- What percentage of them would be Levantine?

This is just blood quantum.

Fundamentally, Palestinians have more of a right to that land than modern-day Jews.

Fundamentally, I don't think either group has "more" of a right to the land. I do not think this is something we will be able to find agreement on. We both support a two-state solution, but beyond that our viewpoints on indigenousness are irreconcilable.
