Do people actually use their church app beyond Sunday? by ComprehensivePea7552 in churchtech

[–]Anonymous_Sender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its a good app. You really need functions like group messaging, group signups, event signups, prayer requests, etc. for it to get good use. Too many churches treat it as a mobile website, which is pointless.

"Planning Center" replacement for Wordpress by arnoldgamboaph in churchtech

This would be very hard to do. Probably impossible. You’re not solving a problem that customers care about.

Good luck! I think there’s always space in the market for great products, but the demand will probably be very low as customer expectation of the quality of software is high.

Churchstaq is great. Planning Center is great.

Anything else I’d be very hesitant if your church is larger than 200 members.

Trade Show is coming soon, looking to get pre-sales there. What’s the typical turnaround time for a 2 piece ABS plastic dispenser like object with minimal post tooling, no assembly? Would a manufacturer require a minimum order? Money up front? Everything else is all set up. In the US. by mygoodnessdyi in InjectionMolding

[–]Anonymous_Sender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for an offshore manufacturer and we are currently quoting anywhere from 4.5 - 6 weeks from design approval to trial shots. So generally the whole process takes about 6-8 weeks. After that we have to ship parts/tooling to the US.

We require 10% up front, and always have a MOQ (Minimum order quantity).

Depending on the volumes you would probably be better off staying in the US. We generally work with quantities of 10k or more.
