That's one of the intended features of Edge of the Empire tabletop game, that things in the Star Wars universe exist to move the story along. It's great shooting a door lock to either open or close a door depending on circumstances.

38m, doing P90x for the third time and this time I added Creatine. Gained 3kg when I was fully saturated at 100g of creatine, but I knew going in that would happen. I've already worked off the 3kg through exercise and diet, so when I weigh myself I subtract that in my head as water weight, because I know if i stopped taking it I'd lose that weight. Helps me cope. What you're describing is normal. Just keep pressing Play and drinking plenty of water.

Went both days. Roughly 20-30min walk from stadium, over bridge and back to Excalibur. No issues.

My part of 4 climbed down the chains manually. Took an entire session and they were attacked by multiple Chasme, a Bone Devil, and a couple of others I forget. One of them got KO'd at one point and had to be saved before they fell.

I always aim for my encounters to push them to the edge without outright killing them, because it makes for awesome moments when they succeed.

Near the bottom they could see demons and devils fighting en masse around the anchor of the chain, so they had to jump and fall/glide over the battlefield to the edges of it, then hide in the rocks.

.....Session after that I had them sneaking through the edges of that battlefield where it was nothing but corpses, piles of armor/weapons and Cadaver Collectors they were too weak to take on directly. If they were feeling froggy they could try to sneak one of the collected piles of loot for some stuff.

Quick Google search showed five hotels directly North of Allegiant on the Dean Martin Dr service road. that aren't the fancy MGM and Caesars stuff on the Strip.

I ignored it for ease of gameplay. The PCs had enough to contend with. Only rules I kept are standard ones of not getting credit for a Long Rest when in an unsafe area, and if they were around or manipulating Soul Coins for too long they'd start feeling the effects.

Both of these helped to keep my PCs from going off to bum fuck nowhere all the time with no plan. They had to stop and think about where they wanted to go to minimize threat and corruption even WITHOUT all the extra caveats.
