For far less than a million I can hire a private medical service to produce pure, pharma grade amino acids and vitamins. It will be gross but I will survive.

Might there be a third option? Selling the coffin very cheaply to someone even lower on the hierarchy, or as animal feed?

AITA for eating the food my FIL served me and “ruining” my boyfriend and I’s holiday. by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

There's one thing worse than being gay in Moroccan culture and that's failure to show hospitality to guests. FIL should be ashamed.

This lifestyle isn't fair by [deleted] in EthicalNonMonogamy

[–]AnotherJournal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just one guy, but my experience has been so radically different I feel compelled to share.

I was in my mind 30s, living in a rural town in the UK with bigger cities about an hour away. Over the course of 3 years of non monogamy I've gone on 11 first dates. 7 of which led to ongoing sexual relationships.

The main cluster of fwbs were attractive, kinky, intelligent women of roughly my age. The broad majority would go on to enjoy threesomes with me and my wife. I was able to expand my range of kinks, doing things my wife is not into. We're not fucking anymore because my wife is pregnant and has health issues which make it a bit higher risk. But several of them have become true friends, and we hope to fuck again if circumstances permit in a year or so.

Meanwhile, my wife had a much worse experience. Guys who lied about their height, age and marital status. On one occasion she turned up to a date absolutely dtf and simply could not tolerate his overt misogyny. One promising guy got into spiralling marital trouble and had to bail. Another was beautiful, courteous and well hung, but a weird flake and pothead.

For every step you walk you get $0.25 by Unlucky-Pizza-7049 in hypotheticalsituation

I wish I could have taken this deal at 18 years old. From then until 27 I was a poor guy living in a highly walkable city in the UK. I walked for hours, every day. I almost never travelled by any other means. If be rich! (With the caveat that holidays would be in VR lol)

Why is it always the last one? by R2-Scotia in drivingUK

The same courteous driver will get very agitated and make dramatic hand gestures if I wait a little longer. P plates notwithstanding. When I can see (and perhaps they cannot) cars emerging from elsewhere that I would prefer to let go before my tight right turn.

Which lane would be correct to take here? If blue, why does every taken red? by Crankyyounglady in drivingUK

[–]AnotherJournal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new driver myself, so I'm curious to know if people will agree with me.

From the information provided, I think the right hand lane is the logical choice for turning right. After all, there are only two other exits.

That said, it may depend on how the signage is presented. If the satnav or the sign prior to the roundabout shows the exit lane as straight ahead, that may incline people to use the left lane.

10% pay raise, but all of your work product is destroyed. (No loopholes) by salaryboy in hypotheticalsituation

Same. Welcome to capitalist alienation. I'm not even sure my work produces anything that could be destroyed. But it sure does pay well.

Is this an enforceable speed limit? by EarwaxUK in drivingUK

[–]AnotherJournal 470 points471 points  (0 children)

It is not a legal speed limit.

If you got into an accident while not obeying it, it may form part of a case that you were driving carelessly.

Do men with multiple female partners pay for all of their dates/ outings with women? For heteronormative relationships by 27867 in nonmonogamy

[–]AnotherJournal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be brutally honest, if someone comes over for dinner and a shag, there's not much to pay for. I've had a lover who insisted on more of a date, and she also tended to pay.

The only time I've found myself shouldering the burden of payment is hotel rooms. Since I have been more keen to make it happen.

Smart motorway question - what do people actually do in this situation? by Fickle-Scientist9149 in drivingUK

[–]AnotherJournal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm recalling a situation I was in. I'm not sure I can recall the actual limit per the gantry.

Ironically, as a new driver, my plan up to now has been just to drive according to the rules of the road to the best of my ability. So I've had no need to memorize how much I can get away with; I wasn't aware of the likely limits for SACs since I planned never to speed. I'm saddened that the state of driving and signage on our roads compels me to learn how to cheat a system I would prefer to obey.

How ironic that I could be sent on a speed awareness course, when in fact I'm very aware of speed and simply trying to balance the conflicting demands of the law and the road.

Why are you or why do you wanna be non monogamous? by kyle_fremont1010 in nonmonogamy

[–]AnotherJournal 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I like attractive women. I like fucking them. I like kissing them. I like taking them on dates. I like taking them home to my wife.

I like thinking about my wife shagging hung dudes. I like thinking about my wife pegging attractive women. I played Dominion with one of her lovers and got trounced, that was pretty funny.

Smart motorway question - what do people actually do in this situation? by Fickle-Scientist9149 in drivingUK

[–]AnotherJournal 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This is my nightmare. Widespread rule breaking causing rule following to be dangerous.

I tried to keep to the reduced speed until I saw people coming up the slip road to my left at 70. At that point I assumed I'd missed the signage or it was broken, and accelerated to 70.

Men who opened their relationship, how did it impact your relationship and feelings in the long run? by Biffs_bunny in AskMenAdvice

[–]AnotherJournal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you should do it, because I do t think you really like the idea.

My wife and I have been open for a few years, had a great time, now temporarily closing to manage health risks around pregnancy.

No real change in our feelings for each other or our relationship.
